Finally completed the 2nd weekly of this event to play 6 games of Tavern brawl and get my last 232 points. Sign up has been disbled but there was 5 hours for me to do this. Waisted many hours in Standard!
That’s not a bug
Arena styled tavern brawls are always disabled for new sign up on the last day to prevent players from starting a run they will likely not be able to finish (even though that rule doesn’t take into accound that the pre-release tavern brawls include a free entry)
This is huge BS! Playing 6 games in a couple of hours is peanuts.
Playing 30 games in standard is another story because of slow players and ropers.

Maybe for people that can spend “a couple of hours” in a row, but that restriction is aimed toward players that may not be able to or are not aware that they have to.
This prevents them from getting in the brawl by paying and losing everything without knowing
This is a tavern brawl rule unrelated to any ongoing event quests
It’s not your opinion that makes that answer correct or not.
None of what you’re complaining about is a bug.
Besides, if your mentality is “screw that rule and those players, it’s peanuts to play that many games” (which your reply tends to imply), then it should have been peanuts to you to complete the weekly quests earlier and not to rely on the tavern brawl on the last day
