I equipped a Bladed Gauntlet from a Molten Blade that I got in the Hallucination Tavern Brawl. My opponent had minions on board, and I had 5 armor so I should have been able to attack, regardless of if I was a Mage or not. However, the game refused to let me swing.

Were you frozen by your opponent?
Weapons with adaptative attack value are known to be bugged in the current patch, you can see it being addressed in the pinned topic

dont lie that bug is account related and its obvious OP doesnt have that bug because he played the game
Yeah the card is bugged. The weapon itself adapts to the armor’s value, but your hero doesn’t gain that attack. While equipped your hero still gains attack from any other source though; it’s as if it was a 0/2 textless weapon that can’t go face.
Example: i had 12 armor and BG equipped (had a +1/+1 from Corsair Cache, so a 1/3 weapon). The weapon’s value attack: 12. My hero’s value attack: 1. Had Odyn played previously, so i heropower for 2 armor, and my hero gains it, into 3 attack. Attacked a minion, dealt 3 damage.
