Maybe stop playing hunter and you’ll stop being a victim to them. Mages usually destroy their board based strategy.

Not true. Mage goes 50-50 (if even) with Mech Rogue. At least get some better examples if you are gonna refute a silly “nerf x” argument.

To OP:
With Mech Rogue being an Aggro deck, it’s popularity diminishes as time goes on.

Just wait it out. People get bored of Aggro decks as the expansion passes.

Sounds balanced! Clearly doesnt need nerfs then.

Tracking my own games though, I lose more games against mages than I win.

Blizzards idea of nerfing a single card by mana value has been applied. Wont touch the deck for 6 more months. Sorry.

may be just delete this class from game? really guys, rogue already nerfed. Just look for card library and you will find lots of solutions to fight with mech rogue.
When you proplr copy decks you alwais say that something is werong with your opponent. Just change your deck with several cards.

Pure Noobadins give mech rogues a lot of trouble too because of all the cheap divine shielded and taunt minions they have, not to mention class action lawyer denying the big mechs is also back breaking. But paladin is a noob class and no one plays it in higher MMRs unless it’s stupidly broken. Also paladins beat almost nothing else in this format except giving trouble to mech rogue and hound/secret hunter. So if you’re a noob at low MMR just pick up pure paladin and you should do just fine against all those hunters…

Facts. Paladins are a little unpopular this expansion because their new toys aren’t fancy. But if we aren’t talking about some stealthed windfury 10/10 high roll rogue set up, Paladins will absolutely crush rogues.

Even a 10/10 windfury will sometimes not be enough for the rogue to win if the paladin is able to fill the board with their cheap taunts. Mech rogue is completely board-centric and needs to be hitting face almost every turn in order to win games, and pure paladin has many ways of playing cheap taunt minions that simply negate rogue’s one dimensional gameplan of making a big minion and then making it go face.

Lol good thing nobody plays paladin.

Clearly you’re playing it which is why you came up with this asinine comment. Sorry i’m tired of losing by turn 5 when a 9/5 with windfury and some other high mech both with stealth are in front of me.

These devs suck and should be fired.

See it’s not the Windfury that is the issue it’s the stealth that is the problem. Stealth is something that should be very rare to attain and when it does it needs to be conditional not permanent.

At least its pretty much unique to rogue. Is there any class besides them who deserves to have access to stealth so easily?

The mech is about it as far as playable cards. I know i play Deconstructor in my Warlock deck because the early game is so good with it. I guess it’s a good thing Mech Mage is bad and Mage has a much better deck or that might have become a thing.

It probably wouldn’t even be a problem in the mech rogue deck if it wasn’t permanent and the stealth mech wasn’t duplicating itself.

So the rogue is dead because he just spent at least 2 turns forging, making a stealth mech, magnetizing a 5 drop to it, then not attacking with it so it stays stealth.

Its a game losing play if you have been aggressive against the rogue up to that point. It only wins the game if you literally had the worst possible hand and were passive the first 5 turns.

ATM i don’t have a problem with the deck. My point was more that it is a difficulty for inexperienced players to deal with and being that it is new it has the potential to snowball out of control in the future as the Graveyard did.

My only change i would make short of removing the stealth minion from the random pool is making it a “Stealth for 1 turn” effect. This all might become a moot point anyway once the changes go live and we see more control Warrior and if BDK comes back into the meta.

Ngl Reverb on mage is hilarious vs Mech Rogue. You just bait the buffs, by the time its done, reverb, kill it with your hero power and watch the long pause of “oh F…” that is clearly going on after they spent the whole game bming you with voice lines after playing every single card.

Can also play for as much time as you can, let them buff up and hopefully have inquisitive creation in hand (x2) and just watch them explode and RQ lol

or you can just play priest and 2 mana Shadow word death and ruin their day.

Other than that, yes, Mech rogue is gross. But so is mech paladin. But at this point, i’d rather play against mech rogue and paladin than hunter.

mech rogues are more than balanced, if you want to nerf anything it should be:

  • hunters (overall their cards are too good)
  • druids (spam board fill with drum circle and other crap)
  • priests (their titan is utter stupid OP, not sure what happened to blizz balancing)
  • warriors (massive armor and minions)
