Okay, let’s nerf all tier 1s. Then when there’s another set of tier 1s, nerf that.

Repeat. Infinitely. Till all minions are 1/1.

No.

You’re welcome.

You mean you want variety in the meta and the game not to be dominated by like 3-4 classes?

What an unreasonable request. Oh the horror. The outrage this will spur!

Except there’s always another deck lurking in the wings to take their place.

You cant balance a game like hearthstone, there will always be a best and worst

What he means is, nerf the current T1 decks, that I don’t like, so my T2-T3 deck will feel better.

I think nerfing Priest, Paladin and Hunter would be completely fair, yeah.

i think nerfing hunter and shaman can be nice yes and maybe priest shadow so all tier 1

Eh, based on the latest VS report…

In diamond, hunter, warrior, paladin, demon hunter, priest, DK all have decks with tier 2 win rates (50%+) or better.

Mage and rogue have decks in the upper tier 3 you could be successful with.

It’s really just druid and lock you should be avoiding right now.

Nerfing tier 1 decks just makes new tier one decks, and could make the meta variety worse, not better, if something like, say, control priest ended up tier 1.

I think that’s the point. Op and many others are tired of this current meta and would welcome a change.

Doesnt matter another will take its place

You could work for the blizzard design team, nailed how they nerf and buff things "look at stat tracking site, change problematic minion stats, change it’s cost, is it balanced yet ? do it again " xD

every think they could rework mechanics ? regular balance patches would be a whole lot better than just printing a new set every 6 months and mostly ignoring the mechanics and only then coming in with love nudge balance changes

The meta is fine. What’s the problem with it.

i think when a deck gets above 60% winrate, it deserves some look at

It’s hard to make the opposite statement, meaning a deck below 40% should be buffed. There could be so many decks that aren’t really decks, if that makes sense.

But yeah, ideally, the meta should have a variety of archetype and all classes (attention, i didn’t mean all classes should have all archetypes), all ranging between say 45 and 55%. this is the ideal scenario.

It’s obviously difficult or impossible to achieve, so a meta with decks winrate ranging from 40 to 60% is still good, i would call it a day there.

But currently hunter is in the 65%. Ok we are 10 days away from TITANS, there aren’t going to be any balance change now, but just something to aim at in the future, a meta with deck between 40 and 60%

So wait a week. Sheesh.

What report are you reading? In Diamond and Legend both Hunter is tier 1. Oh wait you are talking about pocket meta fantasy land again cause thats where Hunter falls out of tier 1. And that tiny meta was a whopping 35 k matches compared to the rest of the meta. Not really relevant to keep parroting top 1K numbers since only a tiny portion of people play there.

The latest VS report, which on Thursday, had all of those decks exhibiting 50+% win rates in diamond.

You don’t need to reach top legend to have viable deck variety.

Hound hunter is the strongest deck in that range, but it is far from the only playable option.

You only need to be in upper legend if you demand deck variety that can also beat hound hunter consistently. Your options for both being a decent deck AND beating hunter are limited to just enrage warrior if you aren’t playing decks optimally (I.e. are still in diamond ranks).

If you just want decks you can climb with, you have several options.

Not even top Legend players play decks perfectly. There’s playing well and there’s playing even better, but no one plays optimally all the time.
