As the title says like the welp can we just temp ban it till it’s nerfed.
It is literally making the game better to play.
Or we really want unkiliax everywhere?
That to not say dragon druid was off the charts when they decided to do that.

Meh, looking through the few vs reports before expansion, including before druid domination near the end, there are quite a few other aggressive decks that contest against the reno and unkilliax decks

Aggro pally
Shopper DH
Gaslight rogue
Insanity lock
I suspect those old decks are at least competitive if not still better than lamplighter. People just aren’t playing the old decks as much, because hey new expansion
Worst game design idea ever. Aggrostone will kill this game faster than anything.
Lamplight is balanced in shaman. The only place it’s an issue is rogue and although I don’t think it’s healthy in that deck it’s definitely not tier 1. I think the things to look at are the fact that rogue is carried by bouncing their own minions. If the current tier 1 were nerfed then maybe Lamplight in rogue might be an issue, currently it’s being filtered by stronger decks.
The meta itself needs addressed though. I guess my point is that it doesn’t need a ban, at least not if we agree that rogue’s utility to bounce is the issue and then addressing if these cards are necessary for rogue to have good decks or not and if the existence of lamplight is worse by itself without these cards and if banning the card makes other decks that play it make them immediately worse enough to merit the ban or not.
Move cost to 5 with stat adjust (4/5 maybe) and it’s fixed.
I think they can give it the SuperCuddles treatment and just ban it for 2 weeks straight up with no real actual reason (because the entire game is broken, not just this particular/latest brokenness), or plan of action or treatment, why don’t they just do that?
I don’t like this idea whilst the virus module for unkilliax remains untouched. It remains one of very few counters to this.
Although even that is a stretch with Shaman, I think I must have dealt 81 damage to Warrior from battlecries and eruptions and still lost . All because eruptions don’t trigger the death animation for unkilliax before the next eruption hits.
Easier solution, lamplighter and other such counter-type cards reset their counter when put back to hand. Also if generated later it should start improving from that moment forth.
Problem fixed since the card is fine in shaman. If need be bump the mana to 4.

Ya kill lamplighter and i can tell ya rogue has no deck to play other than what its been playing for past two expansions.
Welcome to the club. That’s every other class except Rogue having consistently 5 decks each expansion.

For the game as it is nerf It to 4 mana and is already enough of a nerf.
I not even convinced this meta needs a nerf at all.
Here’s a funny idea for a nerf:
Make it a 2/2 with Elusive. That’s way Rogue can’t target it with SS/Breakdance
That would completely kill the card, there are better removal cards for minions.
