The cost is too low, 2 mana for 3 charge 1/1 minions, guaranteed to hit face with some buffs. The card is the main culprit for that fact that Pirate DH and Rainbow Shaman dominate the meta right now.
I strongly believe the card mana cost should be 3.
The deck is useless without those cards. You effectively want the death of the deck. But it has a great handicap; the deck is bad when it has bad luck on only the first 3-4 draws because it relies on very specific combos of cards so it’s effectively very clunky; play the deck and see.
Bluegill murloc with charge still exists.
And yall seem to be banking on the verrrrrrrrrrry misguided concept that a control warlock doesn’t have at least 3 nukes with charge/all character splash damage. Also control druid is as much a myth as an actual good Odyn warrior, what idjit honestly thinks “Destroy your opponents minion. IMMEDIATELY LET THEM DRAW 2 CARDS WORTH OF MINIONS AFTERWARDS” isn’t gonna be the death of them? May as well be trying to sue a construction company with the opener of “It doesn’t explicitly SAY I shouldn’t shoot myself in the chest in bright words written down the side of the nailgun!” Yeah, the game doesn’t SAY you’re not supposed to shoot yourself in the foot when you’re fighting someone, because it’s supposed to be common sense!
Not sure if sarcastic. It doesn’t have to continue to be important for people who take the Ladder seriously. Especially the ones on the highest levels of it mainly care about the end of the month’s performance because that’s the rank that sticks.
I am not being sarcastic here. I just did not realize. That is it.
If Renathal sticks with 40 HP effect, aggro decks are just not viable anymore. Control decks would rise instead along with midrange decks to counter them.
IMHO, I suggest that Renathal should allow a player to create a deck with more than 30 cards and the player has HP equal to a number of card thier deck respectively. This way allows a player to be more creative while maintaining some balance.
A 40-cards deck would be less consistent than a 35-cards deck, while a typical 30-cards deck has better draw than a 35 cards deck, keeping it in check.
I wouldn’t say aggro decks are necessarily not viable, but I doubt any of them can use it. Those decks are often extremely refined; that means some of their cards are just way better than others and they would be diluted in extra 10 cards; and they rarely need to survive the damage of others before they have lethal.
I think “charge” in general is more of an issue with some of these cards but if you changed them all to “rush” it would probably kill some of the decks. Either way these decks are far less dangerous with 40 health right now.
I don’t see that clearly supported by stats. Besides the meta is a dynamic system that hates mirroring. If too many play the “best deck” the counters and the “2nd tier” decks start taking over or at least start being 50-50.
You could certainly try asking them to remove charge, but shaman still has a spell to give a minion windfury and warrior still has a spell literally named “Charge”
It would slow down the inevitable, but it won’t really stop it
