Absolute joke this bs remains in the game untouched, with only the druid version getting its support rotated away. I really enjoy playing against protoss priest let me tell you! Lets also push a patch a day before the quals and only do a half measure! That way the they are filled with the same garbage excluding one or two decks.

It’s the last truly good and fun set to ever come out in this game so I don’t mind it. And I honestly doubt this team will ever have the guts to do what is necessary to actually release this expansion so might as well continue to play starcraft until the next set if you ask me.

LOL, you could not have picked a more toxic set to pick as your fav. What did you main terran or zerg? Yea every deck being one of the same 3 was a very interesting time to play!

There’s like 2 starcraft decks out of the 18 decks above 50%wr that are viable. What are you talking about?

I didn’t say it was my fav, just that it was the last good set to come out. Great flavor, great design, great art and great gameplay imo. All classes immediately had a new deck to play and the previous meta was obliterated. That’s exactly what should happen with every content release. Truly a highlight of an otherwise awful year.

That’s just my opinion. Zerg DK was lame but everything else was fantastic imo. Arguably should have been nerfed harder or Emerald Dream power should have been a lot stronger but there’s nothing wrong with the StarCraft set. Quite the opposite.

Opinions vary. I quit the game for the duration, and emerald dream as well.

Playing wild isn’t quitting the game, just the mode. And so you know, you’re still going to run into those sets

But I actually did quit. I went back to comp chess for both card sets, and only came back for un’goro.
Should have skipped it too, I think.
More Quests. :unamused:

There’s 49 cards that make up the entire Starcraft set and 27 of them are in current Meta decks. It’s still THE most impactful set on the current game and it’s had the most nerfs of the sets done to it.

It had a ton of nerfs. The zerg became mostly unplayable (they were a massive meta tyrant on DK) / the terran only playable in very slow decks / and the protoss playable only against worst decks. The main thing that keeps them going is that the power level of the newer expansions is low.

PS I liked that those cards were purely synergistic (similar to having Excavation but on steroids). That had its negatives because it made deck-building almost useless (it was like Blizzard giving us ready-made netdecks) but it also meant very good synergistic decks.

That’s because the cards go with each other to make the decks. They’re tribal lmao

Not ALL the cards within the factions are used in the packages. Some just a few and some all of them. It’s very hit or miss based on how useful they are and if they have been nerfed into the ground. It’s still the most nerfed and important set of this rotation.

People hate the idea of them going away but so many decks would be toned down if they didn’t have them. You could actually justify nerfing the Murloc paladin quest instead of murlocs if it was gone because it wouldn’t be too weak in comparison.

DK, Mage, Priest would have to find something else to stay in the meta, right now their most competitive decks are largely made up of the mini-set

yes but let create things for them and nerf into the ground existing things , let raise elementals and let raise the quest one

yeah… ok. I’ll keep searching for Waldo

I think I wouldnt dislike the starcraft set so much if it wasnt for the starships and the fact you can do nothing (feasible) against them when they’re dormant.

I guess the starship set also showed how powerful targeted draw can be, a lesson that blizzard still hasn’t learned but the actual cards aren’t really that obnoxious anymore. I honestly thought the starcraft cards would become pretty irrelevant quickly and most that have were rotation related… if the hero power stuff was still in I bet we’d still be seeing hero power druid.

You know; the whole starship hodgepodge is why I left. I guess it’s popular for some, but I have no idea why. For me, it’s the textbook definition of non-interactive, and auto play inevitability. I play this game expecting that when you make a play, then I have the opportunity to counter-play, and that does not exist with the starship decks.
Plus? They have the entire Warcraft universe to design from. We didn’t need SC shoved into this game.

i want another starcraft set, but as a full expansion this time, also a full diablo set too
