Now i get these perfect curve 1 drop Pallies who always have Flash Sale on 3 and Crusader Aura on 4.

Oh silly me i guess i shouldve just cleared board with my non existant aoe / field clear thats buried in my deck.

Its unreal how many times they are holding the nuts with 23 cards in deck , 3 in hand. And lets not forget how many times they have Busy Bot on 2 to buff their Murmy or Wisp.

And of course you have no way to know which version of stupid you are facing until youve already mulliganed

Edit : good news fam , it is possible to beat them, all you need to do is follow these easy steps… complete the Warrior quest,

play the reward,

play Barnabus,

play Marin,

get Tolin’s Gauntlet,

play it, and get a hand full of Dracorexs…

its THAT simple

And oh yes, make sure you strategically play your Shellnados, Brawls, and taunt Stalls

Paladin is no more toxic than anything else and significantly less toxic than most of the actual meta decks in the game right now.

Nothing about Hearthstone is fun right now. It is all solitaire combinations and over powered ridiculousness.

I find Wild more interesting than standard at this point, and that is really saying something.

Murloc paladin should be renamed to roach paladin, you keep killing them but they come back

The token version is the much better version of paladin… murloc paladin is just way too slow for todays hearthstone.

Do you see where the problem lies with that though? OP is literally complaining about a deck that can have the game put away in three turns. How is that a healthy meta?

It’s not just that hearthstone isn’t fun anymore. It’s not even interesting.

i can’t for the life of me figure out how paladumb can curve out with aura, flash sale and busy bot so damn consistently. i can only imagine my mulligans if i played that deck. hand full of the most expensive cards (3 and 4 mana) for sure.

I am also shocked & awed at the priest players gettting their rescuisitate minions ALONG with rescusisitate so consistently too.

Priest has access to the draw 2 protoss cards, summon a 3/4 charge, and other than mothership and photon cannon the only other cards is 2 cost sentry a 3 cost void ray…oh and they have bird watching because of tourist and fishing pole

And yet some how yesterday i played my toss priest deck, which is similar to the “op” version

Didnt get a minion or a draw protoss card until t5 and that was AFTER i had to put my PW:S on an enemy minion to activate the Holy Kindred

Lets just say i didnt win that match :joy:

What trips me out even outside of Paladin, is how many people just magically have perfect curves every game, and always have their perfect answer in hand.

It really feels like I’m playing against cheating AI bots. They get every card they need at the perfect time and you’re not even really playing the game.

It feels like you’re playing against a blizzard bot in story mode. It feels scripted. Perfect hand. Perfect draw. It’s just too weird

Oh hey guys its me OP.

Just lost to murloc paladin again

This time they played Grunty on 8 and it spawned a Trex.

Combined with the Rex they had on t6 that I managed to temporarily stall from being killed (thereby spawning 3 murloc which fuels quest)

It was all for naught because of a single turn they now had full board of murloc to play warleader + crusader for an OTK.

Good times

… at least i got my quest online and gained 8 armor and a new hero power.

Think im joining the rest of the consensus and just conceding when i see the quest played, i might win, ill usually lose but in both scenarios i wont be having fun

You gotta race them down and kill them as fast as possible. Their only way to remove minions is that 1-cost rock, minions with rush on turns 3ish+ and their only way to heal is with the RNG lifesteal potion or an RNG lifesteal adaptation.

I can usually kill them on turn 5 using my tempo dragon druid deck (lol) depending on how they draw.

Set up early threats with snowball potential that they cant remove, or just burn face hard. If they get to turn 8 and drop grunty its already over

And if your deck is too slow to do any of this then well, losing to paladins is the cost you pay for being able to beat the other stronger decks

Board freeze and sleepy resident stops murloc paladin dead in it’s tracks, bonus if you can res or make copies of resident

I shouldnt need to play these cards in every deck :tired_face: its 3 wasted slots just because of one single deck. Im already got 2 reserved spots for silencer and viper :scream:

You should stop running cards for every occasion and start running cards with a decent wincon in your decks to win (or you’d better look at hsguru and pick any meta deck with a wincon that you understand). And think about how to win, not about how to avoid losing.

One day I played against Quest Mage, discovered Viper, used it and lost anyway.
Next time I played against Quest Mage, discovered Viper, didn’t use it, played cards for tempo and won without using Viper.

Board freezing/resident works against more than just murloc paladin, if you can get multiples you can stall until your own wincon

i think the paladin deck is not for reaching legend and fall very hard off gold or higher, what can i do when you all with your 200 euro decks cant climb higher at gold lol lo lol…

i play matches where i got the achivment do 200 dmg in one game, and lost because priest can do 45 murlocs in pakets, destroy all 5 cost minions and these spells each 5 time in a game…copie ever two times the best card in my hand 95% of time

shamans that have 55 armor exchange into raynor from starcraft play 15 taunts 8/8 and 12/10 stats…revive 10 taunts

mages that 22 minutes permanent cast spells like play 5 cards 6 times each game and destroy permanent all murlocs with 9/10 stats and higher…

but thats all ok and fair how broken these decks are…idk whats going on here lmao!

another question is why i should play decks that need 25 min per game…
thats maybe why all play beast hunter, murloc pala, aggro pala and so on…its because 5 - 10 min each game…

and u cry and cry only aggro, maybe some people wanna have short fun for 30 min a day because of family work…
also it makes no sense then play decks that need 20 min or longer to win, or from 0 to gold or legend 200 or 500 hours a season…but what i talk!
