Came back to the game after 10 years

i face same 3 meta decks in bronze, 10% winrate unless i also play a meta deck.

It was worth a shot but unfortunately this is not the same game as i loved 10 years ago

One of the worst times to come back unfortunately. Bad timing I would say.

Ten years was what, Blackrock Mountain?

Maybe before trying to “play your deck” you should learn to build one.

Seriously. If you really think that you can compete with the combined effort of the entire comunity with 5 minutes looking at cards after 10 years maybe is the game that is better without you.
Because the metagame is basically that.

Obvious trolls are… obvious?

Ah yes, nobody ever played strong meta decks back when Patron Warrior or Face Hunter or Zoo Lock or Hand Lock or Mech Mage were a thing. You just GOT to have an off-meta deck perform well.

But for real, bronze isn’t a rank really anymore. You’re matched based on MMR. You can be legend last season, legend mmr, and be in bronze grinding up.

maybe wait for the new release, the meta is crazy right now, its about to calm down on the 25th

As if you didn’t have to netdeck back then to perform well. It’s just that it was easier to homebrew something good yourself.

People act as if people in 2014 wouldn’t use the cards of 2025 if they had them.

If you played 10 years ago the basically you know nothing about this game… 10 years ago you could play only the basic Hearthstone… which we called Classic mode… and maybe the very first expansion… not more…

Time sure does fly. I came back within last 2 years but no more man lot has change. I still remember how good my decks were then found new cards to switch out the old. I don’t follow meta builds I enjoy gaining the knowledge when facing them.

Almoast like me, I returned about 4 years ago and started to play again with almoast zero experience. I didn’t even know what meta meant at that time, lol. I just started to build my own decks and climbed higher and higher each month until Platinum 5. From there it was hard to get Diamond 10 and than 5. I worked for it really hard because didn’t follow the meta decks at all. Toke me 3 years to reach Legend. It was a real fun by using my own decks.

I love testing decks than climbing so it took me over well my mind is fuzzy on the math lol. I will say I played this game when it came out took me a while to reach Gold 5 I love soaking in knowledge. I will wait longer until I have most of the knowledge memorize then go for Gold 5 which I did! I then reach Gold 1 as of right now I’m alwasy stuck on Gold 1 only matter of time to reach the next rank.

Wow 3 years? If you don’t mind can you please speak wisdom to me.
