Hello! I found a bug with Ice Block. I used Maiden of the Lake, Coldarra Drake and Majordomo Executus to use hero power of Ragnaros repeatedly. First shot dealt a lethal damage to enemy hero and an Ice Block activated. Second shot killed the enemy’s Majordomo and following hero powers haven’t dealt any damage to the enemy’s hero, while my creatures could still deal damage. Here is a screenshot: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/476275072123011075/694497042545770537/unknown.png
The screenshot shows no more minions on the opponent side. And their hero was immune once Ice Block triggered. So that means that there were no targets left for your Hero Power. I’m not sure if in such cases the Hero Power disables, or remains enabled but does nothing, or remains enabled and shoots the immune hero without dealing damage. Either way, it will NOT deal damage.
In the next turn, you’ll be able to deal damage again. The immunity granted by Ice Block lasts until the end of the turn.
You claim that your minions could still deal damage but that’s not clear from your screenshot. Have you actually done any attacks? Did they deal damage? Since the enemy hero was immune, your minions should have been unable to damage or even attack it. (They would of course still be able to attack opponent minions, if any are still on the board)
I believe Ice Block is supposed to be lost along with all other enchantments during a complete hero replacement. And I believe the Immunity is. However, about a year ago, it was found that even though the Immunity was gone, some lingering effect would continue to enforce Ice Block’s “prevent fatal damage” effect for the remainder of the turn. Non-fatal damage would be allowed through, but fatal damage would be blocked.
