Bug Report: Tavern Upgrade Cost Issue with Gift Pilferer in

Summary:
While playing Hearthstone Battlegrounds on Turn 4, I encountered an unexpected interaction with the card Gift Pilferer. The Tavern Tier upgrade cost was initially 5 gold, but after purchasing and selling the Gift Pilferer, the upgrade cost fluctuated unexpectedly.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. On Turn 4, with the Tavern Tier upgrade costing 5 gold, I purchased the Gift Pilferer.
  2. After using Gift Pilferer, the Tavern Tier upgrade cost reduced to 4 gold.
  3. When I sold Gift Pilferer, the Tavern Tier upgrade cost reverted back to 5 gold.

Expected Behavior:
The Tavern Tier upgrade cost should not fluctuate after selling the Gift Pilferer, as Gift Pilferer does not have a Battlecry ability that should impact the Tavern cost.

Actual Behavior:
The Tavern Tier upgrade cost was lowered by 1 gold after using Gift Pilferer, but it returned to the original 5 gold after I sold it. This behavior seems inconsistent and potentially unintended, even if Gift Pilferer is not a Battlecry minion.

Notes:
I understand that Gift Pilferer does not have a Battlecry effect, and this may have been a mistake on my part, but the cost change still seems off compared to other interactions in the game. Please investigate if this interaction is working as intended.

Thank you for looking into this!

Gift Pilferer’s effect is only active when he is on your board. This isn’t a bug.

Would you expect deathrattles to continue triggering twice after selling Baron Rivendare?

As Gift Pilferer does not have a Battlecry, its effect only remains while it’s on the board.
If you want an effect that remains after you’ve got rid of the minion, then you need a battlecry

What other interaction does not match that behavior ?
