Hello. When playing battlegrounds, I repeatedly encountered one problem, namely the time it took to buy creatures in the tavern. Why is it different for players in the same match? Just yesterday there was a case when, at the end of the battle, I was transferred to the next battle without allowing me to recruit creatures. It’s very annoying when you lose a game not because of your mistakes, but because of a broken timer.
Because the next fight will begin at the same moment for all players
The more animations occure in a fight, the more it will take time and the less you will be able to recruit before rhe next fight starts
The timer isn’t broken, it’s the animations that take too much time
Why does my purchase timer start running while I’m still in combat mode? Now it is apparently configured so that it starts counting down for all players when the first battle ends. It’s not fair. In this case, the timer should start counting when the last battle ended.
Main reason is that fights do not occure in real time and are only displayed client-side, with animation times potentially depending on some variables
But you are not getting it correctly
“Your” purchase timer does not start running while you’re in combat
When a fight starts, the next one is scheduled in a fixed amount of time, end of the line
If it’s scheduled in 3 minutes and your fight takes 2, you have 60 seconds to buy
If your fight takes 3 minutes, you have 0 second, if it’s instawin, you have 3 minutes
With what you are asking for, if a fight takes 5 minutes to unfold, then ALL the players will have to wait for 5 minutes. In your game that means that each round, 6 players will have to wait an incredibly long time doing nothing, not knowing when it will be finished, before being able to continue their game
From my gaming experience, the really long battles of five minutes that you are talking about happen in the late game when some of the players have already left and one or two players will need to wait a little longer. As for me, it’s not fair if a player got into a long battle and then couldn’t strengthen his own, and there is a possibility that he immediately ends up with an opponent whose battle took less time and got stronger.
and yet that’s not the decision they made when designing the game 5 years ago
