I am writing to bring your attention to an issue with the card effects of Bumbos Togrun in the game. According to the game mechanics, Bumbos Tho’grun’s ability is intended to destroy three of the opponent’s cards: one in hand, one on the battlefield, and one in the deck. However, there appears to be a discrepancy in how the ability is executed during gameplay.
I have noticed that instead of the specified three cards, Bumbos Tho’grun’s effect is destroying four cards: one in hand, one on the battlefield, and two in the deck. This has been consistently observed and reported by multiple players, suggesting that the issue may be more than an isolated incident.
The unintended additional card destruction in the deck could significantly impact game balance and player strategy, potentially altering the outcomes of matches where Bumbos Tho’grun is played. It would be greatly appreciated if your team could investigate this issue. If this is a bug, could you please prioritize a fix in an upcoming patch? Alternatively, if the card’s effect has been intentionally changed, an update to the card’s description in the game to reflect this change would be helpful for clarity and to ensure all players are informed.
The only report like this that I have seen that included a replay showed that multiple T.N.T cards were drawn, causing player confusion, but not displaying bugged behavior. Do you have a replay that shows otherwise?
I have a screenshot from my account showing that one TNT card destroyed four of my cards. Unfortunately, I cannot attach the screenshot link using the guide. An error appears stating that I cannot attach links.
That is what that looks like. Are you playing a non-Reno deck? I ask because it looks like you are running duplicate Shield Block and want to be sure that is the case
In some (unexplained) cases the T.N.T also displays the card it has drawn afterward.
What is important is to monitor the number of cards that remain in your deck.
When drawing one T.N.T, the number of cards in your deck should go down by 3. If a single draw results in multiple T.N.T being drawn, each subsequent T.N.T is another 2 cards to go down.
If you are at 20 cards in deck, the first T.N.T brings you down to 17 cards, the second to 15, the third to 13…
As Skizzy said, each previous report of “T.N.T destroyed 4 cards, 2 from my deck” that provided a replay was debunked as a simple misunderstanding of the visuals.
Since you play on PC I advise you to install a deck tracker. Either the one of HSReplay or Firestone. They are authorized free third party softwares that can help you have a better time in the game, and you can view replays of your games afterward to check or share weird interactions.
