Bring back Starfish and Polymorph

Currently, Deathrattle is out of control and has almost no direct counter.

Armor DH is brainless. Once you let Arkonite Defense Crystal die one time, even when silenced, the flow of resurrection is unstopable.

I know the deck is not the best deck, but its level of stupidity is absurd. It requires no strategic planning.

I think the solution to Crystal is to just remove the deathrattle entirely. Let he card zap up the armor on battlecry and let Shaman use it as a +24 armor tool with Shudderblock worst case scenario.

The other thing is that the cards like Ooze should be a deathrattle as well, so you can’t immediately kill and re-summon a copy of something. Demon Hunter has payoff and control cards that would allow you to get away with setting up a taunt generator whilst giving your opponent a chance to respond.

Also, bring back Platebreaker.

Reno, Aman’thul, silence, mass dispel, plague of death, Shard, etc. Once cards like these were taken out, there’s no good, consistent way to counter one-trick-pony decks. It’s incredibly lame.

There should be a way to interact with other play styles. “Win condition” is a weird, magical concept, and if that’s the devs’ plan, there should just be a card in the game that says “you win.” Purified Shard for all! A real game involves building a board, setting up your play, interacting with the opponent, and reducing their health to zero. The current problem is that you can’t effectively interact with your opponent or protect yourself from massive armor gain plus massive attack, plus taunt, plus endless minions. Wtf is that?

Which deck does?

Definitely not Zerg hunter if you ask me? Zerg hunters should get a nerf as well.

This won’t work, it needs to be tradable and needs to cost less.

i rather have plate breaker and alextraza

Adding tech cards to your deck for a specific match has ALWAYS made your deck worse in HS. The answer is not tech cards but addressing the problem deck. It’s an easy fix but they don’t want to do it because they stick to their guns these days on that hard two week rule for changes when an new expansion drops regardless of how meta warping deck are.

Can people stop thinking starfish is a solution to anything? It was unplayable when it was released, it was unplayable during the death rattle rogue meta and it will be unplayable now. 4 mana 2/4 do nothing and get murdered because you didnt actually deal with the board. Nice card bring back Ironbeak owl too ? :joy:

It was great during sunken city where buffs, diving shields and trigger effects (lightning) were all around the place.

But I dont see how it would help the current situation.

Back then, I always had one in my deck and it worked fine, and so did Mind Control Tech.

Those 2 cards I mentioned are just an example. There are also many cards that can nullify the effect of Deathrattle.

  • Starfish
  • Polymorph
  • Potion of Polymorph
  • Mind Control Tech
  • Mind Control
  • Mass Dispel
  • Plague of Death
  • Sargarus, and many more

These cards might not make you win the game all time but they keep Deathrattle in check. A player would hesitate to go full Deathrattle deck, knowing that these cards might be played.

Devolving missiles was always a favorite of mine

How are ANY of these an answer to armor dh?
Like sargeras. Yeah im just gonna leave a full board of dh minions up for 9 turns and not develop so he cant trade them off and poof them. Yeah, that works.

Silence as established is useless because they rez anyway.

Poly is fine but they run more than 1. Hex works too but you cant fill your deck with polys, hexes and silences if you want to win any other games.

On another note, wheres the card that lets you do anything to a starship that hasnt launched?

DH with is beyond stupid it like so brainless just concede from plain bored watch it happen.

Know what could work?

CTE but with you discovering between the effects of the cards instead of the card.

I not mind one swiss knife card costing 4/5 mana where you can mix a bunch of effects of weaker cards and choice one when you play it.

It is only fair to powercreep the tech card choices a little over time too.
