Bring back Solo Adventures

I guess my title-writing skills are just too good, now I don’t have much else to add here.

So yeah… please do. Book of Mercenaries was just superb. Put it behind a paywall for all I care, just give us some more of that

When I started playing, there were current solo adventures – I loved them. Bring them back!

League of explorer’s and Blackrock mountain’s solo adventures were pretty fun. Shame they still cashlock the old og adventures without any sort of sale or gold discount.

Nobody’s probably gonna pay 20$ for a (*mostly) outdated adventurer for Majordomo, the card so infamously bad ( First 8 hp hero card), it was bad even for classic standards.

Think the only deck that even remotely successfully used it for even Meme status was some sort of Janky iceblock mage in wild that turned into rag, iceblocked, and then tried to use the hero power to kill a enemy lmao. Maybe ± that hero power dmg doubler

(Kinda wonder if anyone ever tried to do that with that "Fire your hero power at all enemies" card, and tried to see what would happen lmao.)

I haven’t played the heroes/villains ones, but I loved all the roguelike ones and could literally play them indefinitely.

I’d also pay for them.

It was used in a T1 top legend meme rogue deck.

I missed the old days of Solo Adventures. Had such a interesting lore to it.

The older ones are good but the new ones have been balanced around you basically needing a high roll mulligan and drawn cards in a specific order to win. Not much fun.

I had that one moment where I raged so hard, because the minions he summoned were like 6-9 mana.

Oh god, i think i remember some Murloc guff one in book of mercs, or maybe something else haha.

I can’t remember how, why or what happened.

All i remember is HATING that encounter, and i can’t even remember why, but i remember like needing like 20 retries and a high roll just to get something working, and then the next guy said they rolled the cards to win it first try lol.

Nathria had the murder mystery puzzle (which is bugged now), Lich King had Arthas’ story to unlock DK, and Festival of Legends had an adventure called Battle of the Bands but it was just a two-week-long Tavern Brawl. To me those count but I wish they would unbug the mysteries.

I always found the solo adventure content to be some of the most boring content in Hearthstone, which is why I hardly did any Book of Mercenaries content.

For me, The Witchwood monster hunt with treasures was the most interesting solo content.

I am flattered.

I find that the best solo adventures were the roguelike ones, with treasures. I also find the mini sets are the definition of wasted potential. So many of them would make great solo adventures. Book of heroes/mercenaries was a scam. I want to build my own deck, not use some underpowered set deck. To top it all off, the most recently released expansion seems so awesome as a solo adventure almost like the witchwood where you play as one of the classes opposing the greedy miners and stop the elementals or smth. I wish it wouldnt be just another mininset though

What mysteries? Never heard of em

Speculation and hope brings people together. I dont give a fck if its never gonna amount to anything.

There are 4 cardbacks you can earn by unlocking and solving secret mystery puzzles: Mysteries of the Phoenix in the Barrens; Gift of Elune in Stormwind; Shimmering Snowflake in Alterac Valley; and Deviate Delight in Castle Nathria. hearthstonetopdecks has excellent guides on how to do them, but not all of them are possible to do at the moment. Most of them require building a deck that contains specific cards, and some of those were core cards that have since rotated out. The non-core versions of the cards don’t work.

Devs wanna be paid for their work. How shameful.

Everything aside they were stop exactly because people didn’t wanna pay for the adventures.

Not only that but the other side with people buying cards did not want to have to unlike the cards after already paying.

And before you say they could try to sell adventures without cards…
The EVIL year is mostly this.

It failed in the adventure revenue aspect.
Reality is that aren’t many willing to pay so they aren’t willing to put that much work.

100% man. I miss them.

I liked them myself but I assume they were bad from a profit standpoint because they were popular yet taken away anyway. So I wish we’d get them back but highly doubt we will.

I think it’s mostly a matter of how much space they take up. The replay value of them is limited and yet they take up space forever because naturally we don’t want to lose access. That becomes a real problem when so many people play on phones and the game no longer fits.

Gold IS easy to come by nowadays. I have 5000 gold which is enough to buy 7 700 wings.
