Maybe buffing the Octobot to 2/4 would be enough pressure vs play with your self, paint by number quest decks. The Rogue quest is trash and the supporting cards are lackluster.
Lmao what are you smoking buffing an Emperor Thaurissan on steroids…
Both Poison Rogue and Quest Rogue are good tier 2 decks and are doing well, they are high skill level decks you need to have a decent grasp of the class to play them.
I am being told there’s no skilled involved in Hearthstone – or very little. How do you respond to that, Orion?
Those people never played Rogue before.
Jokes aside i remember the Patron Warrior mirror mathup the better player always won skill does play a part in the game and some classes have for sure a higher skill ceiling.
What would you say is the most skill intensive CCG? Magic?
Do you know anything about MtG? I’d like to play it but am fearful it isn’t FtP friendly. (Talking about the online version.)
Yes i started with Magic in the 90s later on i tryed every single card game in the market before moving to online games.
Magic is the most skill heavy but Yu Gi Oh is by far the most complicated and hard to understand all the mechanics.
Now on MTG arena its easy to play the game free to play but you will have limited resources to build many decks, i recommend Mono Blue its cheap to build and very strong.
I used to absolutely love Yu-Gi-Oh as a young teenager in the early 2000s. I was pretty good and actually won some tournaments at our small card shop (maybe about 25 players). Felt so accomplishing at the time.
I loved early Yu Gi Oh sadly the game went to hell on its later years.
People think lossing on turn 7 in hearthstone is bad have no idea what its like to losse the game on turn 2.
I mean we have a game that pretty much plays itself. I do not run Octobot as it ends up being slow. I mean if a mage needs to play a bunch of cards just give them a worthy target.
The game state is still pretty toxic but I do have to play ladder once in a while for quests.
That card is beyond busted and there is 0 reason to buff it.
Rogue isn’t dead nor over the top; It’s doing alright;
Let’s keep it that way.
This sentence seems absurd, but since they buffed the 1-drop in pirate warrior, I think it is time we make 2 drops better too ![]()
I understand it is probably trolling, as octobot makes your entire hand cost 0-2, because you dont play more expensive cards, but still.
Rogue is in a good spot right now. As other people in this thread said, the class requires good understanding of the whole deck and swift decision making. The “play cards on curve” plan doesn’t really work in Rogue, so the class might look weak at first glance but it’s not the actual case.
i need more cards to play with an SECRET rogue arhetype which are very rare to see
i like the secrets deck to play around her cuz its very smart/situational and satysfing while i win vs stronger on papper enemys…
I never see rogue and when I do my card generation beats them. I will take the flightmaster over garrote almost any time.
I sure do hope rogue get some love in the mini-set. It’s getting pretty tiresome to have to play a deck that requires you to play 5 times better than your opponent to stand a chance of winning. 1 mistake and you lose while most other decks are really forgiving to misplays.
