Brawl winning with modified aggro Pala deck of pretGDB cards

It’s not winning much but it’s winning, and it only needs pre-tGDB cards for us F2P flood palas. Reasoning: whatever is removed from the “traditional” flood pala is replaced only with something that has some equivalence. I believe I found a couple of cases that might be an IMPROVEMENT of the old trusty deck. E.g. Pro Gamer might be probabilistically a better card because on average it draws one card and it has higher health and attack than Gold Panner who is almost always drawing only 1 card (if they figure out what deck you are at least); Trinket Artist is legitimately cheap enough for aggro and draws a ton; the Plushy while a bit expensive for aggro: it seems to not be bad if the aura is up etc.

Pro Gamer is the worst card ever printed because its effect is asymmetrical - your opponent will get to play their cards immediately if they win RPS, while you get to play yours only 1 turn after should you win it.

Where were you before that expansion when forumers were analyzing cards?

Theorycrafting in a vacuum for the meta is approximately useless; the context is a fast aggro deck; some of the things that are true for the average deck are approximately irrelevant for fast aggro decks.

They do not care that much if the average opponent gets more cards for the first 5 turns because the average opponent can’t do much with most of their cards for the first 5 turns anyway.

Also this deck’s win condition is EXCLUSIVELY a board that is very sensitive to very low attack damage so any extra HP on the board even if it’s 1 HP on the board helps.

Looks like it could be more fun with eggs and that 3 mana 2/5 beast that pops eggs and adding some minion buffs. Deathrattle paladin!

Otherwise I think bucket of soldiers is probably a weak point as it looks like the only activators are toy captain / sanc / flash sale.

As someone who has tested that card it is not a very good aoe deterrent so mabye hand of adal / livesaving aura to synergize with it if you’re dead set on keeping it there.

I guess you mean Ravenous Kraken and eggs which doesn’t sound terrible though not equivalent to the old deck.

Not sure why 5+mini cards aren’t enough enablers; but I guess they’re not too many; they’re 6+mini btw (your forgot zilliax).

The old archetype requires flash sale for most of its wins anyway.
