Brann is cool and fun right up to the moment when you are not being flown with him for 60 + hp.
Druid is a stable deck with a huge bust, Mana cheats, capable of responding to aggression and losing control only in one case - the destruction of Bran.
Hunt is an aggressive deck capable of pressing from the hand and capable of dealing 32 damage from an empty table already on the 7th turn. But all the zor is not even in these lovers of blue leggings.
I won’t whine about the need for nerf cards, but the root of all evil is in the Branne. Increasing the cost will not save you - the druid has 20 mana, and other classes will simply not need it.
OTK used to set a difficult task for the player - to survive and move. Now OTK is an optional vincondishn.
Which class can now defend itself in theory from OTK through Brann, Anub, Astalor? The only option is to destroy the Brann in the deck/hand. There are three slow maps that are physically difficult to implement under the pressure of Hunt and Druid (their minimum entry is even). Let’s say, playing on a DK with 60 hp, you were lucky to destroy Anub in 1 game out of 10. Komba is fine without it. Astalora? Okay, here’s the disodium under the Branne.

I agree that Brann needs to be removed from game. We have a brand-new Expansion, and I am already sick of playing. I hope they remove him soon. Changing the cost of him won’t do anything either, he needs to be phased out fast!

I hope that Brann in Standard was a valuable lesson for the devs. When Brann was printed, Battlecry minions were often over-priced for their stats and didn’t create enormous value. How many times have you personally seen a Brann into a School Teacher into 2 Nagalings all in one turn? Even when it’s not OTK shenanigans, the run-of-the-mill Battlecry cards in Standard now are so much more powerful. I don’t think power creep is inherently bad. But when you bring in a card like Brann, who takes said power crept cards and dials them to 11, you might be overdoing it just a smidge.

Brann is not the problem. The problem is from developers, they don’t want to make this a better game obviously, noone in their right mind would leave druid in this state for weeks, let alone any card busted. Any card doing more then 5 dmg should be removed from the game, you shouldn’t be able to steal cards from your opponent, nor should u be able to burn opponents cards, it should be hero vs hero. Be more like WOW!
When Brann was originally printed EVERYONE was capped at 10 mana…not that THAT part matters much now either now that druids have Anub to circumvent the need for mana anyways right?

Not only was everyone capped at 10 mana, battlecries were no where near as powerful. Back then, you were happy to Brann into Healbot to heal for 16.

Remember the days when a card like Coldlight Seer’s battlecry was considered s-tier? This is why Brann is overwhelmingly broken in today’s game…
And don’t need to be combined with any flashy powerful combo to be strong, turn 5 I play Brann + the new 1 mana 1/2 minion giving me a combined potion and the 1/1 pirate giving 2 cards from another class and just that was enough to build a game winning play with Tess.
Brann need to go for other cards have the chance to shine.
