Thanks
Plague of cheaters. People complain about bots but I haven’t encountered a single one but there are cheaters in almost every game.

Let me guess, you mainly think of that if you lose. Do you ever think that there’s a cheater if you win?

MocnyElf is the cheater in those cases :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

True; I haven’t thought of that possibility. Sometimes it gets one to know one. But to be clear I don’t believe that and it’s usually ego playing tricks on us making us think “RIGGED!”.

This has to be a troll?

They not anwser… nothing…

They are winning, they have to be cheaters, I guess.

You are probably one of those cheaters.

why cant anyone ever provide evidence of cheaters in standard or wild?

Because Blizzard doesn’t give us the ability to review previous games, which would help, since videos could be posted. Not to be a total sh!@#$r but I do wish friend spectating could reveal our opponent’s hand. That could be considered cheating, knowing what’s in their hand if they make that a thing, but it would be beneficial.

I’m sorry Cheezus, but no one gets the “pog-opener” hands like I’ve seen some suspicious plays do. Without mulligan.

This isn’t y2k anymore. If you’re not using 3rd party solutions then you aren’t serious about catching the crooks.

See above.

Streamers have. With 3rd party solutions. The most recent one was just a month or so ago during the epic tavern brawl. A streamer ran into someone starting as Jaraxus, twice. (He actually beat the hacker the first time around)

Said cheater got banned and the hack got fixed. But it can happen. And 3rd party recording methods might not be ideal, we certainly “should” have official methods… but we haven’t gotten them in over a decade.

you should really try learning how to read

I got no answer from my report, the hack played two cards (1) in first hand turn who summoned one more (4 cards) 2 cars 1-1 and 2 cars 1-3 then buffed in 2 turn (mass buff). AND STILL FULL HAND !!!

The only actual cheat I’ve seen in regular constructed is an animation skip software showcased by a cheater themself, but never ever have I seen actual footage of someone having an illegal deck
Every report attempt i’ve seen so far was just uninformed players not knowing about the existence of some cards, whizbang most of the time

Twist, Tavern Brawl and even duels we’ve seen, but most got fixed within a single patch.
Standard, wild, casual or even arena, still in the clear

If one can hack in one, one can hack in all.

That you personally are entirely unconcerned with hacks unless it interferes with your preferred modes, isn’t a mark against me in the slightest.

all i read is

"i dont have any evidence’

You completely missed the topic

They said that because we HAVE the evidence for cheaters in other game modes
People have been providing replays of their opponents playing illegal cards in twist, HTB, maybe even duels

yet no one ever provided evidence for cheaters in regular constructed modes, animation cheats aside

Putting aside the philosophical and/or moral problems of “hear no evil see no evil speak no evil” for one hot minute:

https://www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2017/06/09/hearthstone-streamer-suspended-after-discovering-and-showcasing-auto-win-exploit/

There are a few ways you and Derkan could proceed from here:

  • You can play at Sophistry via “technically it was a bug/exploit, not a bot/hack” and thus prove to the world you’re only concerned with forum gatcha’s instead of the spirit of the discussion.

  • Or, you can play at Pedantry via “technically Toast never used this in Standard / Wild” and thus prove to the world you’re intentionally ignoring the implications that everyone who would willfully hack and/or cheat would absolutely abuse this exploit in the modes you’re talking about.

  • Or, you can just defer back to the first two options because let’s be real here: you’re both dead-set on winning pointless forum debates. Just like how most botters and hackers are dead-set on winning pointless HS matches.
