almost all my games so far this expansion have been Standard core bots and wild even shaman and mech rogue bots this expansion launch is a nightmare i cant play any mode without 5 or so bot games before a real person its embarrassing to see it still THIS BAD i hope it gets better but if not im going to have to quit till next expansion or untill a ban wave
You haven’t seen BOTS till you played on the APAC server. Just for some reference this is the number of “players” in legend as of right now on each server. A good third+ of those legend players in APAC are bots. It can always be worse just be happy with what you have.

I keep seeing the bots claims, and I know bots are a thing, heck blizz used them up until recently, but I am REALLY skeptical of the numbers of reports. I play the game fairly regularly and while I occassionally expect I am facing a bot, it isn’t normally more than like 1 in several games. I’m only at diamond 10 atm. I think people heard that blizz implemented bots briefly and judt started assuming every deck repeat or bad player they saw was due to bots personally.

It’s fairly easy to spot them just by the cards in their deck and/or card backs and name.
Can you share the criteria? Maybe I am missing it.
First off they will be playing a bunch of suboptimal core set cards that you wouldn’t even play in arena. After that look at their name and if it’s just a string of letter combined with one of the two free card backs you pretty much know you have a bot.
Yeah I don’t see that often. But I am still on my star bonus atm. Dang I’ll keep an eye out maybe I am just oblivious lol. From memory I don’t see anything like say “Chillwind” yeti bad often or see any suspicious names. I have had a handful of games with suspiciously crap cards but it isn’t a regular occurance.
Names include:
a) random strings of letters (i.e. “gzjadjus21”)
b) adjective + noun (i.e. “FancyPants”)
c) Basketball players/nicknames (i.e. “GarnettCheaters”)
Bot starter pack also includes, but isn’t limited to:
- turn 1 roping
- not conceding when it’s obviously over
- not emoting back when you provoke them at the right moments
Keep in mind all of those should be combined, or else you’re probably playing against a legit player who’s kinda bad
Also their most played decks currently are DK and Paladin

Ok dude currently at Diamond 8. Played about 10 games in a row. Based off your list I had 1. I think bots are a low mmr problem. Which still makes it a legit issue but unless I have crazy luck it isn’t anything on the level it is claimed to be lol. If you’re in Diamond at least you’re not seeing several bots in a row on a consistant basis.

I just climbed to diamond in wild these past couple days and the trip was (no exaggeration) almost entirely against mech rogues named stuff like JadeLlama and OpalFox
So cool, I know my deck is good against bad “players” with bad decks, but why is it only when I reach diamond that I get to start facing real human opponents?
