There are a ridiculous number of bots playing standard right now. They play their cards targeting totally random things, playing cards out of order (like not using combo cards before playing the card you’d normally play to trigger it or only things like battlecry cards with no target etc…)
The goal of these bots isn’t even to win, its to just play cards as fast as possible and end their turn to get to the next game and gather what gold/xp they can.

This game is dead bro, if it wasn’t for bots, you would be waiting 3+ minutes to fight someone.
Hearthstone is on a downhill spiral at the moment and the only fault is Blizzard. The current bots are to fill the player base lose over the years and you will see more as it continues to lose more players.
Blizzard decides they want to go mobile market only and look at what it cost them half the player base and counting. You can not target one group and forget the other made game what it was from the start PC player base. They bit the hand that feeds them and it backfired big time.
When your win rate gets high enough you don’t see bots anymore. If you play well enough, you won’t even see them in bronze next month.
Wrong my win rate is close to legend and still face many bots you can tell by the cards they play or the way they do. That and they do not show up on your deck tracker at all like a real player.
this game is totally in decline, I can only be happy about this, blizzard will finally understand that saying “this is random” when it’s all a manipulated system to push you to spend money by quickly losing the accumulated gold, it doesn’t pay off in the long term because the people realize it, you can’t say “discover is random” when the same choices always pop up, those who play mtg know very well that things that happen in hearthstone have little to do with randomness, I would add that if you search the net you will see statistics according to which “by chance” those who pay have higher win rates than those who don’t pay, those who pay make legends more than those who don’t pay, those who pay win more arenas and duels than those who don’t pay… why ? Think about it

No, they aren’t, but its not fun when I sit down to play a game and play against a brain dead bot.
Imagine playing against a brain dead person, are you going to have fun? Now imagine doing it for 5 games in a row. I don’t have a lot of time to play and I’ve seen bots everywhere from bronze to diamond.
That would make so much sense. I’ve played about 200 games a month for the past year and don’t recall ever seeing a bot.
give us a block button to block all the bots. I would wait 3 mins to play a real player and not a bot.
I think most people are mad about bots which I agree on. Stalling the time out. Sure you can beat your opponent health down to 0. But like trying to finish the match for like 30 minutes is like not worth it.

as long as this blocks you from being matched vs players with low mmr too
you are lying you were here around the time they were added so you played the game before and after they were added
the queue times didnt change at all after they added bots
blizzard bots were added to avoid matching players with low mmr from being matched vs players with meta deck and higher mmr

I’m sick and tired of going on a heater on my way up the ladder and then all of a sudden I can’t beat anyone and I’m knocked all the way down to D10 after being one star away from hitting D5. And then after I finally break through to D5 and get all the way to D1, same thing happens again

that meme i saw a while ago about players raging about matchmaking making them play vs players as good as they are is accurate isnt it
