Today I have “finally” encountered the bomb warrior (like 8 in a row now) and I gotta admit, there is nothing I can do against it as a rogue! and I can imagine how hard it is with others too.
I discard 6 bombs from my deck with Rogue legendary spell but it does not help, the warrior has over 15 armor and almost full hp and I’m getting into 15hp, there is no way any1 can deal enough damage and to sustain the bombs (ofc few healing classes with extreme luck). If you think this is what you wanted from this game then you have failed extremely hard since you have forgotten to give everyone the decent class heal they deserve, I’m still waiting for a heal for my rogue since the hero power is so weak that you have to basically suicide.
I really was looking forward for this expansion since the card designs are lil closer to original (taunt costing 1 mana, divine shield costing 1 mana), since the recent cards have same stats lower mana cost and INSANE battlecry or some other strong effect.
I feel Like I will have hard time enjoying the game with such brain dead deck as the bomb warrior and you may have ruined wild forever with this! No reasonable person would think that adding 2x 10dmg bombs in to the deck is ok.
The end of this game is nigh with the poor decisions you are making over and over again.
Following the footsteps of goblins and gnomes expansion is the biggest mistake you can make. Players should be able to make choices between like Sen’jin Shieldmasta & Evil Heckler Or Scarlet Crusader & Silvermoon Guardian.
The mana difference should be a choice, so no cards like Stonehill Defender
I can’t tell how to fix your broken warrior, 2 damage bombs would be too underwhelming so the dev team will have hard nerf decisions ahead of them.
But anyway, I have had good time with new rogue (except against warrior atm) and would like to see more of these crazy cards!
I’ve always liked the idea of control rogue, but last time in standard it was playable was around argent tournament lol but it was the best feeling to win a control warrior when both players used their whole decks and Anub’arak was just killing it! good times
ps. more card design from the argent tournament, 99% of the cards were extremely well designed imo.

The problem is the same as the last meta.
Armor should be capped at 10.
It’s not fun to be in mid game and opponent has 30+ armor

some kind of armor cap indeed would be nice or something like all of the spells penetrate armor or something!
and yeah with the new armor card you can get quite much armor if you draw it early… XD

armor should be cap lul…if that happen one legendary card suddenly become trash the one that change your HP into Armor

Maybe they should tone down the damage of the bombs to 3 damage.
I think the deck would still be viable and fun to play.
It’s easy to shuffle 7 to 8 bombs into your opponents deck, but with 5 damage each that’s easily 35 to 40damage and the minions that shuffle the bombs come with solid stats on top.

armor pen…yeah thats a nice thing
10hp to 10 armor easily fixable
but dont know about the armor cap but its kinda of a problem tbh! it feels weak to hit with 1/2 dagger when enemy had 10+ armor

idk what you are on about.
and? if 1 class has 67% winrate and others have 20-40%, does not sound like a good game.

That one legendary should convert hp into armor until armor cap is reached
Bomb Warrior doesn’t has 67% winrate any more. It’s dropping every day.
It only had super high winrate at first 2 days, and it’s not the smartest thing to complain about it that early.
Another thing is, what’s your deck list? You play a fatigue/control Rogue in standard? You are winning from Token Druid, Zoolock but not from Bomb Warrior? deck list?
I don’t think Control Rogue was ever a thing in standard tbh, I played lots of games during The Grand Tournament expansion, and Rogue was definitely not a good Control class.

Thief Rogue with Spectral Cutlass eats Bomb Warrior alive. Yesterday I played a game where I drew 8 bombs and ended the game at 30 health after crushing my opponent with a 7-damage Cutlass.
Thanks to Togwaggle’s Scheme, Raiding Party, and the new 4 mana 4/3 Pirate + Greenskin, Academic Espionage is no longer required. Lab Recruiter was giving me awesome returns as well.

It’s easy to beat. You just have to use the right deck.
It would be too strong if Blastmaster Boom were a mech, but now it’s pretty balanced I’d say.
If you put Warpaths and Brawls in deck, you’ll lose early game. If you put Woodcutter Axe and Rabid Worgens instead, you’ll lose to any board. There’s different kind of builds but none of them are too powerful. It may get too powerful in future expansions, but for now it’s good.
i bring 2 oozes 2 spellbreaker just for the Cutlass rogue and when the draw is terrible its indeed beyond terrible, yesterday i fought a cutlass rogue and 2 of my oozes were in the last 4 draws…
It was super OP day 1 but a lot of decks can beat it now. I played bomb warrior since day 1 and my winrate has steadily dropped. Get beat by token druid, spectral kingsbane bs and warrior mirrors that run archmage.
Mech Control Warrior is better than bomb warrior.
The idea of an armor-cap is actually a very good suggestion. 10 is maybe not enough but there should be a cap and therefor they could give warriors some more synergy cards that work with it.
