Blizzard just cant resist. Something HAS to be op,preferably a hero.
So amongst a wide range of nerfs and small adjustments there suddenly is a huge and massive eudora buff out of nowhere. I dont wanna claim eudora is definitely going to be op and one of the top 3 heroes (there is more very good heroes) but this change is massive and a huge buff. She has been at 4 digs before and that was an issue resulting in her getting nerfed.
Why,why was this needed. While leaving so many weak heroes alone or with only marginal buffs.
Lots of other changes, some i like but overall i cant be to excited. Demons is probably still good, which i dont mind. The discount to two is ok-ish but it will remain imbalanced. Some pivot trinkets are very good in general even without discount. And some are weak even with a 2 discount. I dunno, its an ok patch i guess.

But the power level in the game has shifted too.
OG rag was insanely strong, now they just reset it to what it was cuz it is ok by today standards
OG cthun required u to press the hero power to make it work and now it scales passively and even now its considered weak by team 5.
I totally agree about their culture on that in General; I knew it very well from World of Wacraft for decades; they just WANT to have OP stuff and nerfed stuff in their games so players yo-yo between those things.
I’m pretty sure they do it on purpose because “it’s exciting”; they have probably identified it’s profitable in the short term; or it’s a stupid Executives’ culture without a basis (either works).
But it’s very bad in the long term for their games; yes you may make a bunch of veterans excited; but have you really kept more players in the LONG term or did you drive them out?
