Bgs and sky pirate summons

Blizzard, can you please, for the love of God, make sky pirates summon all at once like every other minion summoned in combat? Undead have to summon all at once. Beasts have to summon all at once. Why not pirates? I understand they attack right away but the summon should happen first before any minions start their attack.

deathrattles happen one by one. Even undead ones do. If the pirates attack and die, there is room for more. Its just the base mechanics…

Seems like an unbalanced mechanic. I’ve asked this question in the bast. Years ago because it’s been a “problem” in my eyes for awhile now. I don’t see how pirates need that mechanic to be competitive.

The second you out-stat pirates attack with your board, they lose 100%. This is VERY easy to do nowadays, and only T6 pirates or a lucky trinket that gives board stats can counter it. This is why pirates have that deathrattle multiplier, which really is only strong with a Baron or other deathrattle doubling buff…

But not all the deathrattles happens after another.
For example:
I had a board with a pirate that gained 3x the pirate deathrattle, 2 barons that trigger it. It was taunted so it was killed first. That means I should get 9 sky pirates attacking after another. But when the first sky pirate hit the opponent (which also played a similar comp) and killed it, he got HIS deathrattle right away… this triggered a chainreaction. I recorded the vid and was watching afterwards.
Overall I had 10 missing sky pirate deathrattle triggers missing even when there was room for it! My opponent even got 11 more sky pirates then he should have had! There is definately a bug in the deathrattle stack.

First off, I dont think Baron stacks with Baron anymore, golden or otherwise since a short while back, because the same non-number effects dont stack globally anymore. Some people say otherwise but meh. Baron DOES stack with Moira or the Deathrattle quest because they have different wording.
Regardless of whether the above is true or not, Deathrattles trigger in stacks, they don’t take turns. If the opponent has his stack first because rng, sucks to be you. If his deathrattles wipe out all the cards that buff your deathrattles, ie Baron, they do not trigger as if Baron was still there on the board.

You shouldn’t really need to see more than the thumbnail here. But if you’re extra stubborn you can actually watch the thing.

I wonder if it gets nerfed (/s)

This. Pirates are a VERY BAD tribe right now to play. They have little to no scaling and the little they have has no hope of competing with half the other tribes scaling at double digits. Their best use is helping to level faster through cheaper leveling and early money generation unless QB is in and you hit a Conductor very early.

It won’t because it’s an extreme high roll and even then it would never survive against a typical Demon, Elemental or QB build.

The first game I played after watching that video, I half-arsed the combo and it did well. I didn’t go 1st but it had some wins against very high stats mid-game and finished 4th.

Which is about where I would expect it If you play it reasonably well and other builds haven’t come online yet. It’s just a tribe that has no way to close out games into first ATM.

Yeah but 1st is not necessary to me. Well I also try to do the Hero achievements. But some tribes or boards are just like that AND IT’S GOOD DESIGN; that’s because they may be better early or better late (and not both); e.g. Quilboars appear usually bad early game because they do nothing good until they start scaling blood gems (might be one of the riskiest tribes to pick early).
