[BG]Can we remove frogger from the game(AGAIN)?

I do not understand why they re-added the most cancerous (yes, it is warranted to use that word) in the existence of Battlegrounds

Like seriously, the amount of time where i lost game because my duo partners doesn’t close hearthstone and re-open up to skip the animations of frogger made me lost so many game.

Either add a GIANT SKIP button to end the battle right away, since it already pré-determined when going into it.

or Remove Frogger from the game entirely,

Actually, there should be a “skip combat” button where the “end turn” button is in the card game.

I mean, I am pro-frog, but it is a missing feature, and it’s silly that we have to close and reopen the client to achieve this.

I can tell you right now that it’s not there at all.

Both for PC and mobile.

It is so exploitative and abusive that there is NO WAY TO TELL YPUR BG partner to skip combat.

There is jsut a “Combat” where the timer is when the battle is occuring.

There is no option to skip

I understand this, I meant it should be there, not that it is.

Just add that feature in the battleground tavern pass and it will get blizzard more sale.

Oh and I’m not a Duos player, I play Solos sometimes, but in Duos some kind of highlighting feature should be active during combat so you can suggest the Skip Combat button. Still should be on them to press it.

like if i wait all the frogger spawning and re spawning, it can last 2+ minutes., it is UNREAL!!!

they should remove the coin animation from magnetic mechs and pirates too, it slows down APM builds as well

If you quit out it will give you a full timer when you come back. It’s the only real way to get around it.

FYI: It’s also one of the weakest building in BG’s after the huge nerf to Macaw.

That is on your end though, it doesn’t affect anyone else other than you.

But when it affect EVERYONE in the battlefield and that 1 person don’t know how to skip but to watch that full 2+ minute of froggers going on and on, it’s simply not fun

oh i know, that is what i’m doing.

But the people out there who don’t know how. it’s become an abuse because it’s become a 1v2 for the moment that there is a Baron on a field. One baron is tolerable … but a golden one is just something even the old gods themself wouldn’t want to wish on anyone.

It’s even worse when you have a Golden Baron with the Tier 7 undead Recurring Nightmare. The animation for it transferring is painfully slow.

Until you face a demon player with a minimum of BG skill and has Demons with 500+/500+ on or before turn 10. Demons need a huge nerf because everyone will go for Demons even if they don’t hit a rewinder it’s that powerful.

it is impossible to get 500/500 on turn 10.

The best i can think is that both players get golden tavern, and one of them send the other golden card to the other where the partner get the felbat one.

but even then, it’s not enough time for it.

It’s actually quite possible with the right trinkets. You just need to high roll them. Leapers is a terrible build. It’s not even listed as competitive by the best BG players.

double foe reaper + windfury (mecha jaraxxus magnetic minion) is pretty good too lol, especially when buffed heavily with clunker junker + Murkeye + brann + EOT

The only thing I dislike about Frogger is how slow the animations are.

OP, not OP, that doesn’t bother me either way. Everything’s a coin flip in BG’s. It’s a coin flip now, it was a coin flip for buddies, I wasn’t around for BG’s earlier than that but people claim it was coin-flippey during quests and other things too. It’s probably going to be a coin flip when the next gimmick comes out.

That’s not what concerns me. I know I’m going to either RNG the right gimmick + cards, or I’m not. I also don’t even mind the BG itself taking time to complete one way or the other. When ONE combat takes multiple MINUTES though? That seems antithetical to HS’s design philosophy. At last as I understand it, “we the people” want faster games. And they’re ostensibly trying to shift the game towards aligning with that.

Frogger ain’t helping that vision. Like, at ALL. If the game were any slower it’d be moving in reverse.
