[BG] Full Stats are full at all

I really wonder lots of stats about myself but the current “Full Stats” is actually empty. Nothing useful information is available. I would like to point out which stats are actually important and which stats are not necessary at all:

  • Top 4: It makes sense but there is no information how many times I played the game or it also needs to show it as “Bottom 4” or at least as “# of Games Played”.
  • First: It makes sense as well, but why not just give how many times I was at first with other ranks; “1: 36 2: 26 3:13 …” etc would be more meaningful than “Top 4” + “First”.
  • Minions Destroyed, Triple Created, Tavern Upgrades, Players Eliminated: Very unnecessary, meaningless statistics. Why would I wonder how many minions I have destroyed? or how many times I created triples… what is that? why would anyone be interested in such a statistics? who put these things in the first place? It is like you could not find any statistics you would like to show and you say “let’s put these things to fill Full Stats board”… but there are other information I would like to see!
  • Damage in one turn, Biggest Minion: Interesting statistics, but not much necessary, it is just a show off, it could be put somewhere else I dont know what people wonder other statistics much more than these things.
  • Time Played, Longest Win Streak: These could be okay, if you put these at the bottom, because these stats are not the main stats I would like to see.
  • Top 5 Heroes by Games Played, ** Top 5 Heroes by Wins**: This list makes sense, but I can only see top 5, there are 24 heroes. why not just put all? or instead, you could share each hero statistics, like Nefarian: 15/29, ** A.F. Kay: 12/42 etc. otherwise you would not able to see some heroes you dont play frequently but high win rates, otherwise top 5 list is not much informative, but does not have enough information for players.

Recommendations:

  • Win/Lost Ratio: Which shows how good you are actually in general.
  • Win/Lost Ratio in last (XX) games: which will be useful when you are ranking up, you will know your actual performance and potential ranking up. Especially when you have 8k+ ratings. that XX can be 20/50/100.
  • Top/Bottom 5 Win/Lost Ratio Heroes: which tells the players potential for some specific heroes and also which hero is actually not good for you to play with.
  • Longest/Average/Shortest Game Play Time: People may want to know how long a game actually goes. It will be interesting statistics if it would be possible:
  • Top 5 minions bought the most/least: Another interesting statistics, it may tell the player’s behaviour in the game. It emphasizes which minions you are intended to buy the most or the least.

These are what I thought to be added to “Full Stats” and what stats need to be removed. Hopefully you will consider it.

I will edit the post when someone would like to add a useful stat in the list.

Its obvious that they wanted a more positive board of “full stats”.
There’s reason why they dont mention about how many times u ended up last or below the 4th position or your lose streak etc etc…
The more happy player the better for the mode’s future.

While I can agree with the most of your post, I completely disagree with this.

These stats can stay. There is absolutely no point in removing them. They serve as a history. Even if you don’t care about them, there are people that do.

Add as much stats as you like, but don’t remove anything.

Accurate win rates make players feel bad, so Blizzard won’t do it.

Well It would be nice to know how many games you have played. They don’t have to post the win rates, but at least you could calculate it yourself.

We shouldn’t be forced to run another third party program to keep track of our winrates in BG…

Blizzard is very weak when making stats. Theories are they try to protect people from their bad stats to make them feel better. But no blizzard game has useful stats. You won’t see improvements on the current ones.

Yep, Blizzard and to be fair other devs only allow positive, feel good stats.

They don’t want the majority, like 90%+ of there player base, knowing in reality they suck big time!

Could stop them spending $$$.

And then you’d have the chance of feeling bad. Blizz says no.

This is a horrible mentality, and unfortunately, exists in most blizzard games. It feels like they vastly underestimate their playerbase, and this won’t fare well in the long run.

The more stats the better.

Starcraft games do (at least the basic stats), if that’s something.
