BG floating watcher

how bad is this tier 3 demon?> (gain 2/2 when ur hero is damaged on your turn, ie never)
I guess the only way to get use out of him is to keep grabbing the 1* taunt

Wrath weaver (+6/+6) each turn a least, not bad. But demons…

He’s Pretty good with Lich and/or Wrath Weaver, but I wouldn’t pick Watcher up unless you’re already into either of those. It isn’t the sort of minion that you pivot into during the midgame.

did they remove wrath weaver ?

No, Wrath Weaver is the solution. And it really does make Floating Watcher scary if you get a bunch.

I got double Weaver, double Watcher early on once, eventually going golden Weaver. I beat down everyone in the midgame, nobody had time to make it to divine shield poisonous murlocs because they all died.

Floating Watcher is a trap. If you’re against semi-competent opposition, you will take damage from them every now and then. So then you need to get Mal’ganis to keep your wrath weavers productive and stay alive in the process.

However once you have Mal’ganis on the board, your hero no longer takes damage which makes Floating Watcher a permanent X/X until you remove it or for some reason remove Mal’ganis.

It provides nothing other than stats which means that in late game, it’s something that you might feel hesitant to sell because it’s already grown so much.

It’s been a factor in several losing games so far.

Yeah I have been there once. Ended up with a 18/18 and a 20/20 (I think?) watcher.
Was hoping for a triple and it never came. I finished 5th

Everytime I go demons I get punished. I can start T1 dbl weaver and void guy and I just take void guy and sell him asap so Im not temped to go demons in any way Fudging hate demons. Never again.

You can play demon now. Now that poisonous/DS/amalgam is gone if your demons are big enough they can’t die and people are not running murloc a lot. Two runs saw a demon board twice in the top 3 with one winning it all.
