Just encountered a game where I got Chef Nomi, played 5 elementals after Nomi had been placed on the board and none of them buffed any elementals in the tavern.
Might be worth staying away from it for now.

This has happened to me a couple of times now.
I’m pretty sure it only happens on the initial tavern that you play the elementals on (Potentially only if you’ve frozen the tavern from the turn before).
While the Nomi buffs are not applied to the minions in the initial tavern, they do seem to be applied to minions in the taverns that appear after rolling. Nomi then continues to work as normal for the rest of the game.

Had this happen to me in three games this morning. It seems to me that any Ele played on the same turn as Nomi but before a tavern refresh isn’t applying his buff to any Ele currently available in the tavern, but as JumpyLion says it does apply to all other Eles that roll after that first refresh.

Same bug for me. I bought 3 elementals on the same turn that I bought Nomi, none have received any buffs when I bought and played them when Nomi was on the board. Happened in my game just now (1:40 AM EST 9 October 2020).

Yeah same bug, weird it was right after I gotten Nomi and frozen a board with 3 elementals
bought 2 and played them but the one left didn’t get buffed.

I had the same bug 2 times , but only on the mobile version (tablet). On my PC Nomi works perfectly.

Have seen this problem a few times. Most recently this morning (10/12) - same behavior as others.

Same bug here. I got two triples to get two Nomis in the same turn and got 6th because they literally didn’t do anything for me. Very disappointing and want my MMR back.

Not just mobile, same on windows desktop app… animations play, but no buffs first turn.

Seems like they didn’t address this at the patch. What a disappointment especially with the lil rag nerf
