Just realized that despite me playing for a while and being diamond-legend I’ve never had a deck tracker. I figured it would help me improve so I just wanted to ask what the best one is since I have no idea.
hearthstone Deck Tracker is probably the most used.
I wish We had an in house tracker.
thanks man, and yea that would be a nice addition cus I feel like a lot of players could improve with one but just don’t know about them.
I use HDT. I haven’t tried others. Never needed to.
Hearthstone Deck Tracker
- Pro - Fluid with few bugs
- Con - Paywalls some features
Firestone
- Pro - Receives updates and looks to remain free for the foreseeable future
- Con - Some large bugs in arena and battlegrounds
“They don’t do anything you cannot do with a pen and paper”, right…?
They players in question don’t use pen or paper either, I assume…
I mainly use Deck Tracker for replays. So many games I have something crazy happen that I want to show someone.
I use it secondly for card counting because I don’t want to take longer on my turns writing things down and keeping track of what cards I still have remaining in my deck.
So, in reality, deck tracker helps me to take turns much faster and isn’t that a plus for the opponent?
I also like how I can keep track of win rates of my decks and versions of my decks. As someone who homebrews everything I play, I’m glad the tracker has those features. Did removing a card from my deck have any affect on my win rate? It tells me that.
I mostly use mine for tracking enemy secrets and being able to quickly see what’s been played on both sides. As Schyla says, it makes the game go faster.
I saw a GM writing things down in a match. I’m wondering if his deck tracker broke.
what?

I was replying to ssd’s post, I don’t get it
Its Blizzards stance on why deck trackers are allowed from back in the day. “As long as it can be done with pen and paper, its fine”
