Best Class of All Time?

What is the best class of All Time? It can’t be Death Knight or Demon Hunter because they are Poser classes, it has to be an OG class.

I think Durid is the best class of All Time, but an argument could be made for Hubtar

As of a count around the time of badlands, paladin has placed in the highest tiers by the tracking sites the most often.

Druid and hunter are pretty good too IIRC, but paladin is #1 (or was, if things have changed since I dunno if there’s updated count)

Druid can wax and wane in performance if nerfs/new cards mess with their ramping or huge mana cheating mechanics or the payoffs for all that ramping and cheating.

Hunter is similar to pally but they tend to have better offense and early pressure in exchange for weaker defense and less endurance in long games (e.g no heals/shields). This trade off usually makes them weaker as not every meta or match allows one to give up defense for offense and go for fast games. That said I think hunter is pretty good as most metas do have a place for aggressive decks.

It’s pretty clearcut

Mage, Rogue, Druid, Shaman, Warlock, in that order

P.S. I don’t accept Warrior and Priest as possible answers, as they are anti-classes, rather than classes

Paladin by far. It can have it’s win condition by turn 3. I’m really glad i pay no more money to blizzard. Their programmers and design team went from being the bleeding edge of gameplay to…lets let RNG handle everything so we don’ have to think.

Best in this case is subjective, there is no definition except your own. It just can’t be DH or DK and it shouldn’t be based on statistics.

I didn’t take any offense? Or if I did, please show me where, I can’t find it. In general I’m one of the least hypocritical people alive in current/modern times, so I’m rather confused as to where you’re coming from.

If we are talking about repeatedly having a deck in t1, then it’s got to be Paladin. It’s the devs pet favorite class and they refuse to properly nerf cards in the class.

Coupled with the fact that Paladin typically has the easiest decks to pilot, it makes for a very poor player experience
