Best class and why?

Paladin player here, love sending justice right at my opponents face.

Often in the most scummy “un-justful” way possible xD

Paladin is the only class I know. It sucks. It has almost no depth; if you play with mindfulness it’s very dull; the only very deep part I’ve seen in its gameplay is playing The Countless when I didn’t know what any of the legendaries did.

Odd Paladin it’s one of the decks I used to climb up to Legend even in this meta :+1:

Best class? I’ll say what I most enjoyed. It’s a toss-up between Hunter and Mage, but Hunter is probably my favorite class. I love a good Mid-Range Hunter. I especially loved Deathrattle hunter, along with the Control Mage within the same Meta. Fast forward a couple years to DoD days, and you’ll find a couple more of my favorites, HL Hunter/Mage. If we were ever return to that kind of meta, I’d be a happy camper.

I’m afraid the Pally is back in meta

Last night it was the only class playable for me, because the ladder is full of Rogues, Druids and Mages.

The only thing they all have in common? Their win rate against pally is 40%

And on top of all that, Pally is one of the most promising classes come new expansion

You are better than I am, I can navigate my custom armor warrior to D2 but can’t navigate any of the Paly deck to even Diamond.

That’s why I avoid custom decks and choose netdecks instead - because I wanna be sure that the deck I’m piloting works, so if I lose too much games it’s because I’m playing bad, not because my deck is bad.

That opens room for experimenting with card combos and learning.

I’m top 500 legend now and I won’t make decks until I’m top 10 because there’s still so much to learn

Only my Warrior deck is custom made the Paly decks are netdecks… I just can’t grasp paly play maybe because my Warrior is a control deck and I stink at agrro decks.

For starters, meta might not be good for Pally in D2, I don’t know which classes are played there. It hasn’t been good for over a month now. It only worked last night for me in top 500 legend

Secondly, excavate pally is not an aggro deck. That’s a wrong way to approach it. You need to approach it as a control/tempo/combo deck where your goal in early game is controlling the board and hitting face little by little, mid game is about card draw and total control and late game is about making 1 minion stick so you can pump it to 20/20 windfury and finish the game.

There’s just too much consistent removal in the meta right now to approach it any differently.

I guarantee you that playing that deck properly will teach you a lot about the game to the point you might hit legend even with a custom warrior deck.

Best class: Class 2014
Why:
Garrosh and Rexxar were the class bullies and was always picking fight. Malfurion was the class monitor trying to maintain peace, Uther IS the teachers pet and always receives special favors. Jaina and Valeera was the BFF that always discuss fashion, makeup tips and occasionally…BOYS. Guldan was the loner that always sits far behind and rumbles himself. Thrall was the class smarty pants that excels in science and always play with the elements, and Auduin? No body likes Auduin!

CLASS! DISSMISS!

That sounds legit, actually

You should search for my [For Fun] or [Fluff] thread in my earlier posting years…

Idk what your question is asking.
Do you mean the strongest class consistently?
Or the class that players like the best?
I think Hunter has to be one the strongest consistently, along with Rogue.
But, if you are asking about favorites then idk.
I only play one, and it definitely is not the strongest.
And probably not even the most fun these days, lol.

You went to a rank that aggro decks work easily half of the time because from that point onwards you will be playing against only extremely sophisticated opponents.

The problem for you is that I suspect you will find it very hard to escape ~50% win rate if you also don’t start playing very sophisticated decks at least some times.

The low ranks are kinda weird this month as I told you; I see a very high concentration of netdecks even at D10; but I might be off because I dusted a lot of cards.

The best class for me is rogue, followed by druid. Drawing cards and spending infinite mana each turn with infinite APM while my brain hurts and the rope burns.

That is peak Hearthstone for me.

I was thinking the same (from a distance (I never made rogue netdecks)), but don’t you think the new cards from Whizbang’s are kinda lame for that kind of archetype? It’s mostly pirate minions.

PS I personally have rogue in my radar very strongly but I may avoid it at launch because of those lame cards (some of them at least)

Not really, I love them and I can’t wait to play them. Sonya is amazing and will enable a huge amount of high APM combo shenanigans.

And the new pirate stuff is actually very ‘combo’ in nature thanks to cards like Toy Boat (Infinite draw) and Scoundrel (Infinite mana). I am pretty sure the new cards will play very akin to miracle rogue, and even with a reduced pirate package, Gaslight keepers and Playhouse Giants you can make a full draw your deck by turn 3 miracle rogue deck.

I am very hyped for rogue this expansion.

warrior/dk/mage roll the dice and win
