Is what I have come to realize after posting about doomkin (still feels kind of gross). People seem to conclude that druid has ramp so their inefficient cards become actually efficient. When there are strong neutrals, druid gets way more of an upside, and no downside since those cards are already efficient.
Why are the best cards in the game neutral? It should be that CLASS cards are the best cards. I thought this was already addressed years ago. What happened?

So, your logic is to blame the neutral cards for being too strong in only one class??
Clearly, if that’s true, it’s because of the broken class cards, not neutral cards, otherwise they would be broken in any class
Druid is broken because of ramp (class cards) and because of huge tempo gains/mana cheats due to dragon druid package (again, class cards)
Doomkin is a weird card - if you’re winning, it will seal the deal, if you’re losing, it will do nothing

Laziness happened. Design a broken card 11 classees “can” use or have to use braincells and design 11 different cards that are balanced?
Just make the one card, save time and oh look it prints money!

why not ? it makes the game cheaper by allowing you to play strong cards on several classes without having to craft more stuff
if you can afford crafting cards for every class that doesnt mean we all can
so dont go around suggesting playing several classes should cost more…
yes this is what you are suggesting

I’m just trying to see the problem from different stances. Ramp is probably the biggest thing about druid that people complain about, to be fair. Class identity can totally be something else besides that, but here we are. I got locked out of the game by doomkin way too many times so I originally blamed that card. I read more on what other people had to say, and at first glance it seemed many people were calling out the strong neutrals for the problem (Zilliax, Yogg, Marin), and that made sense to me. It’s just a bit weird when every class uses a couple cards as their win-con.
Why do you want the best card to be limited to one class?
You say best cardS plural but lets be real, the best card"s" in the game aren’t equal n if one class has the actual best then you already know how that’s gonna go.
Maybe he wants each class to have distinct good class cards instead of everyone running Marin + stuff to cheat out

They are, but its’ also important (and has been for the entirety of HS history) that there are reliable cards that any deck can run, see Sylvanas/Ysera in classic, Zilliax in boomsday, etc.
This particular package of strong neutral cards is perhaps a little overbearing yes, but its’ also the first time we’ve seen a card as customizable as Unkilliax.
(I also don’t understand why the burnt the kitchen so hard with reno, it should have been a symmetrical effect from the start)
It’s smart marketing. You make the powerhouse big ticket minions neutral. That way the players need to collect a set of class cards to compliment it. Then a couple of months down the road you nerf it and pop out a shiny new big neutral power house minion.
