Please reduce the newly implemented overly excessive times. I can’t be the only one who feels this way. I think an additional 30 seconds to the original turn times would’ve been more than enough for everyone without pain. Plus, half the fun of battlegrounds was having to make faster decisions and plays within the time.
How am I supposed to cope via games when I now have way too much time think about my life for an extra two minutes every turn now? Uuughhhh!
You are right.
Adding burn rope to the final phases of BG is worthwhile, but we do not need much time before turn 15 to think. And if people do…they belong in a lower rank anyway.
Thinking about real life for an extra minute each turn is deadly.
(I just finished a game in duos and was twiddling thumb past turn 15. I think it was at least 45 seconds of kill time left. This benefits high apm builds that get their comps to work, but for everyone else it’s time to break out a book.)
I only really play Duos. My friend and I have been playing since launch. I can’t handle 4 minutes between turns. I won’t play till it’s sensible again.
We are just trying to keep up with you Neon. Don’t worry though, no one bi**hes about everything as much you do. You still get to keep that cardboard crown.
If they give you an end turn button, they will just move your anger towards other players that now will make you wait just as long anyway

Now you can do other things while waiting 150 seconds. If you get an end turn button and push it, you dont know if it will be 1 second or 150 seconds
Yeah i agree, i did feel like some turns were 20s-40s too short, but often im sitting idle with 120s remaining on the timer.
I took a check at the xp cap, of 30 minutes and got a timer, im regularly having ‘quick’ matches take 45-50 minutes for a #1/2 spot even when they end before tier 6.
The turn timer is a bit too boringly too long and also the xp reward system while capping bgs at 30 minutes also makes it feel like if you play bgs for xp kinda on the side, you wonder if you should concede every 30 minutes to optimize xp, which would be terrible on the recieving end.
Imagine playing 30m to win then someone conceding in duos for xp. I do like the armor system and i don’t mind the middle ground longer games but imho they should BOTH raise the xp limit for bgs from 30m to 60m or maybe 90m to be generous (as long as players are active and not afking).
And they should either shorten turns back to a middle ground, maybe 20-40s longer than before or a adaptive timer.
Like when there’s actions players can make with gold, it could run out slower, when neither team can make actions, it runs faster.
But most of the apm builds were also balanced around ridicolous scaling vs passive builds like 1000-1500 minions with 24/10 - 40/10 gold with gold brann /gallywix antics.
Bump. I am loading in now but doubt there was a patch. The forum community needs to make a lot of noise on this one in hopes the dev team notices it faster. - Did they beta test the new game length?
Yeah. I think I am boycotting duos until they fix the game length. I do not want to sit and wait for an hour + to lose rank in the end to some bs anomaly rng turnout. Which really sucks because I like duos the most out of all the HStone modes. Keep making noise everyone. Someone message me when they patch this. otherwise, farewell.
