Hello,
I just noticed that the triple count, seen when you move your mouse over a hero, doesn’t always show the correct amount of triples. When I tripled a minion with Rafaam via my hero power the triple count stayed the same. I had 2 golden minions, but it showed only 1 triple. I have 2 screenshots to prove that, but unfortunately I don’t see an option to attach them here.
But it’s not only with Rafaam. During the recruit phase I saw that my next opponent (Omu) tripled a minion (I think it was Southsea Captain). During combat I could clearly see that its golden, but the triple count showed 0.
Also playing with Lich King at some point during the game I realized that the triple readout showed only 2, when I actually already tripled 3 minions. Now this is just a theory, but I feel like that the triple count went down by 1 after I sold one of the golden minions.
I hope you guys understand my descriptions above. English isn’t my first language.
Cheers
I’m not 100% sure, but I think the triple count shown in the BG sidebar is the amount of golden minions each player had on the board during the last combat. So if you add (or sell) goldens, the count will not change, until after the next combat.
Maybe it is now, but I’m 100% sure that this hasn’t always been the case. I remember watching streamers doing brann/khadgar shenanigans with beasts/murlocs to get a lot of triples. The triple count went double-digit and it remained until the end of that game.
It also doesn’t explain why I saw opponents triple before combat where the triple count stayed 0 (see my second passage of my original post).
I’d just like to know if the triple count represents something different now, because it used to be all the triples made in total, no matter if they were sold afterwards or not. I rather think it’s a bug which is why I made this post.
This is still an issue, I just had a game where Omu had triple weaver, but it didn’t show in the bg preview. Screenshot: https://postimg.cc/47BJxR2B
A few turns later it still said 0 triples, so it is not the amount of golden cards on the board last fight, like someone said here.
It seems to be a client side issue, sometimes when I double queue, I see that somebody has a triple, but my friend doesn’t, or the other way around.
