[Battlegrounds] The Jailer needs a serious buff

Both his power and his buddy are in really bad shape. It feels like he was completely neglected this patch.

Perhaps his buddy can buff his power instead of summon a bunch of useless tier 1 minions if it survives? Or lower the quantity of deaths required to buff his power? IDK. It just doesn’t feel like it was even considered while other heroes were changed.

Is there some sort of strategy where he’s useful compared to any other hero that buffs minions with their power?

Jailer shines in the quest meta. Heroes go up and down in power level depending on what extra twist is added to BG’s in a season. Changing a hero to make it playable in each season is not realistic. That said you can still make a top 4 with jailer at lower ranks but you would never take that hero at higher ranks.

Therein lies the problem. On paper he’s a fun character, but mechanically he’s just trash blocking a better option.
