Tentacular is summoned before the copies of minions provided by any trinkets - which does not really go along the “summon when there is place” route and is a complete and utter detriment.
Pretty sure it should be summoned last to make any sense.

picking ozumat is just not it currently
wish they did something different with him
Hero abilities happen before trinkets happen. Its the Order of Operations so to speak. Hero Power, Trinkets, Tavern Spells, Minions in order from Left to Right . I might be wrong about the order but Im fairly sure thats the correct order things happen in. Someone else made a thread complaining how Illidan’s minions attack before their undead could gain taunt and reborn, negating their plan to have them absorb the hits. But Illidan’s power takes priority over trinkets already, as well as any other hero’s power too.
If you pick Ozu, its gonna spawn the creature it does before anything your trinkets can do. always. This is intended and how its meant to work.
That is indeed how stuff appears to work, be that as it may though this particular hero power says that the minion is summoned when there is space - which at least implies this aspect was not really thought through as far as the trinkets are concerned.
Don’t get me wrong, I neither am nor ever was a fan of Ozumat - but if this is how it’s supposed to work, does it seem like it was intended? To me it does not.
ozumat reminds me of early bg’s when some of the abilities were just trash
Honestly I wish you could buff the tentacle (beast) just like you can N’zoth’s fish (beast). I understand why it won’t work mechanically the way it is currently, but if they just changed it to where it retained combat-given buffs then at least when beasts are in the lobby it wouldn’t be an awful choice (having a perma-frogged tentacle would be sweet).
As it is, it is simply terrible.
