When in a group with friends, none of us are able to spectate each other. If we leave the party we can spectate whomever happens to still be alive, but that makes playing another game afterward rather tedious.

Seems like something that came in with the recent update around a week ago as that is when I first noticed this. Only way that I can clear it is by rebooting HearthStone which when streaming is somewhat of an annoyance especially as you mentioned being within a group for lobbies.
Now when trying to watch, it says that the game has already ended. As I’m sure you can guess, it wasn’t over and my friends were still in it for several rounds.
yep this is happening to me as well, its annoying to have to leave the party then re invite to start a new game. It worked fine before the last patch.

In a group of 3
Cannot spectate one of them ( 3 dots (…) displayed instead of the spectate icon)
The other one the icon is active. When i click the first time, it briefly shows the loading bar but then it disappears and goes back to the lobby screen. Icon is still active, and when i click on it, it says that i am already spectating the player.
Still broken here, is this a bug or a feature?
my friends and I have had this issue for weeks, really wish this was fixed as we mostly play together and rarely ever on our own

After i lost in a game with 2 friends: spectate button active for both.
Click on 1st → nothing happens
click again on 1st → cannot watch this player
click on 2nd → you are already watching a game (+ screen stays gray and blurred…)
but i guess noone care as long as we play…

One of the largest game developers in the world now owned by one of the largest tech companies in the world, you’d think they would be able to fix an bug like this. Maybe try hiring someone more interested in their job than the interns?

Yeah spectate has been broken for months now. Like it used to work just fine but then I think they messed with something but its like why?
Blue, can we please get a response to this? It’s literally been 3 months and nothing from you guys. Still cannot spectate a teammate once we’ve lost our match without leaving the team and spectating from the outside.

At least have some ballz and put a message saying you know about the bug but do not care?
Still broken day of the new battlegrounds patch its pretty annoying that this has been a problem for months and still no issue when usually only play in a group of 3 since battlegrounds was released and never had this issue till February 2022
