With battlegrounds leaning more and more apm these days and lots of infinite combos I feel like the devs need to stop pretending that the game isn’t meant to be played this way and that it’s not something they should cater to. A lot of cards added recently give gold or other cards when cards are played meaning quite often these days even the best players in the world need more time to play their turn.
I am curious how many people agree with me that this should be added and I’m not really sure what is holding the devs back from implementing something like this. Animations can sometimes take a ridiculously long time, an option that can be ticked on in the settings to just completely remove them from the game would be really welcome in my opinion.
I totally agree, it seems so easy to just replace that disabled “Battle” button on the right by a button that let you leave the animation. It would be fair for everyone, people who like to watch the animation to the end could (it is still useful to see how you compare to others) and those who consider they need more time to play could just skip it whenever they want.
Even more than that, during the Tavern phase that same button should let you tell the game that you are done with your turn, in which case if everybody press that button, the battle could start right away… getting back precious minutes of your life
