Battlegrounds rank showing on friend's list

…which wouldn’t be a problem if I ever played that mode, which I don’t, and don’t plan to.

I’ve tried it way back when it first came out and it’s not something of interest to me.

Until this month, my friend’s list normally showed my standard ranking all the time. However, now it keeps showing my BG rating until I queue up for ranked, every time I log-in

And when I finish the game and go to main menu, BG rating shows up again. Now the same is to all on my friend’s list.

Guys, please, last time I checked this game was still called Hearthstone, not Battlegrounds!!

I DO NOT WANT THIS. THIS HAS GOT TO BE UNINTENDED. If it’s not unintended, then it’s a very lousy marketing scheme which can only annoy people and nothing else.

Same visual annoyance, have you perchance found a fix around for it?

No, that was just that one month and never again

Play a few standard games and it should show standard ranking, I think

I dunno if it will stay, but it turned into the icon when I went from silver into gold in ranked (silver 1 to gold 10) then the icon showed golden 10 in my friend list instead of the BG one (fyi for anyone else reading this).
