If Blizzard started working with more competent, logical, and skilled game designers, idea creators, and developers, allocated salaries to more qualified employees, and hired new talent, wouldn’t they progress in a more innovative way instead of sticking to a rigid mindset? Especially considering how terrible the duo system is and how they still can’t properly implement basic features like chat and reporting—why are such incapable people being hired? Are you really that short on budget?
Can you finally fix the pool system? I don’t know how many times I have to explain this, but all you need to do is improve the pool system, reporting, and chat features. Instead of adding new, pointless skins and emotes, focus on these areas. If your team needs a leader, feel free to contact me through whatever platform you use (Teams, Zoom, Skype). Don’t worry, I won’t charge you. It can be
I see a hard pass coming for you on this resume pitch. The dev team also has tons of free ideas/concepts given to them in multiple forums. Feel free to list your ideas.
they need to see I also send an email so they need to fix something monkey you said that I left the game its okey another you lose point but your duos not I want to say for toxic players
They will not implement chat into this game. Emotes are the highest level of toxicity they will allow.
If your duo partners are making you angry, find some friends to play with. Advertise here. There once was a hearthstone discord somewhere, that’s also a place to find interested players.
THe report feature is fine. If you’re mad you can’t report your random partner, I’d suggest looking at their tag before you join the first combat and you can find it there, write it down, and use it later if you need it. You can also friend them post match if they were good.
It looks like you have a lot of free time to be able to make such a comment. I think you could spend your time more productively by coming up with creative ideas.
The topic is Multiplayer Discussion, so I wrote this not only to get information but also to encourage idea generation. Since emails are not being answered and explanations are lacking, I wanted to discuss it here.
Also, you enter Duo Mode with a random player, which is a nice feature. However, you can’t communicate with your teammate. Maybe you want to try a different combo, explain a strategy you know but they don’t, and apply tactics together. Wouldn’t it be great if there was a Duo Chat feature to enhance the experience?
Although, BG in itself is a totally luck dictated fun mode, too.
I wish they would adjust the regular BG format so it wasn’t so crazily luck dictated. Let a discover give more than 3 options. Don’t allow a tavern to give all tier 1/2’s when you’re on tier 5. Add an AI for making logical attacks in battle instead of supposed random… Or, give players a chance to pick the minion to prioritize attacks on during battle.
The format could be so much more fun without all the randomness.
In the current meta the luck comes from the anomaly you get. Many of them are wildly game swinging in their application. Although, they have been addressing this in the last few patches to remove heroes that are broken with specific anomalies.
When they are not in the game is much less luck dependent. It’s more players aren’t seeing what they should be taking and instead take the wrong cards or roll the good ones away.
Duos is a joke because the mode can never truly be what it can be without voice communication. Watching Duos tournaments held privately is actually quite interesting as the group collaborates with what they are doing. you simply cannot so that in the regular mode with a bunch of emotes.
To me, the biggest factor is discovers from triples. You can either discover the best minion possible from a tier above where you are at… or useless junk. I’ve had games where it gives me everything and I’ve had game when it won’t give me anything after 5-6 tier 5/6 discovers. There isn’t anything much more luck dictating than that.
Yeah I also believe they have to re-design the discover from triples. It’s extremely overpowered when you highroll and extremely wasteful of gold if you hit a dud. I’ve seen entire games deciding if you will be in the top 2 instead of horribly losing as 7th because your triples were complete duds.
BGs is generally a less random format that constructed, but that’s a stain in its design.
I have to agree with this a little bit. Most games you are trying to triple and hit a tier 4/5 early to see your direction. The easiest way to fix this is to remove cards that are basically useless or are never played with card that either would see more play or leave that space open to have a better chance to hit playable cards.
They could also just redesign the triple reward. I think something like “choose between 2 of your tribe that are one level higher” might be a fair middle ground, or even a multi-level choice like “choose between 3 of any or 2 between your tribe or between 2 that have no tribe” etc.
