The game feels very aggressive at the moment as every one is dead by turn 8/9 so if you dont have enough pieces in stats and a tribe you can kill that particular run goodbye, concede and start another one. With that being said
#Chicken from Tier 5 to 6 (Too powerful with the start of combact effect and it deadly once discovered of the scout) in a beast/undead lobby
#Lubber from Tier 2 to 3 effectively killing the lubber strategy everyone loves to play once demons with elemental/pirates are in the lobby. Everyone spams overconfidence with strike oil
And please increase the amount of skins offered in the shop. For some reason my shop this week is no different from the options offered at Christmas. I know that the shop refreshes every Saturdays and Tuesdays.
It’s strong in anything using DRs. Frankly, I think pushing it from 5-6 does nothing at all. I think in its current form, which activates ALL DRs ON BOARD, is more of a Tier 7 power level. I think it’d be more fair if it only activated a single DR upon start of combat.
My argument is it’s better than Parrot, which has to attack first, whereas chicken simply gives you the value before minions start hitting each other, which in Beasts arguably decides games right now. Like, what’s the point in some of the utility we have such as the T4 pirate that attacks the minion across from it or the T6 minion WF attack anything it can kill if the benefits of what they’d snipe have already come to fruition.
Remove Titus Tribute
Remove Hawkstrider (chicken)
Remove or severely hamper the ability to do the Landlubber strategy.
At this point, it really just reeks of loserville and desperation. Almost everyone tries to do this. Stop.
Goldrinn to 1/1 buff
Put scarab back to 4
I don’t believe that Lubber is OP by itself. If anything it’s kinda underpowered by itself. The problem is Lubber + Rewinder, specifically. Keep Lubber as is, move Hasty Excavation to Tier 3. That’s the best way to solve that problem.
Remember, every hero can have Tier 3 minions on Tier 2 from triples.
How about making all minions actually findable in a lobby? Ive gone the last 2 seasons of BGs and never once found the wolf, never once found the Deathrattle lady that buffs undead when reborns occur, and almost never ever ever find the soul rewinder guy when demons are in the lobby…
I can stay on 2 til turn 12 and I wont encounter the thing… (hyperbole but if I tested it out I wouldnt find it surprising at all to be true).
The Bear and the Banana guy are also super super rare finds… like maybe 1 in about 10 games its offered up in one of my lobbies. I dont see how ppl are getting the bear banana wolf by like turn 6…
That might be enough to slow it down. What it really does is slow down the fungus growing to absurd proportions so fast. It’s still a bad build to have in the BG’s meta as it has now evolved into just an economy builder then Tier up and Jank out your build. Scout is no longer a part of the build. I would have to see it in practice though as just a golden and regular lubber would probably be enough to offset the extra spells in the pool. Especially if they hit a string of rerolls.
I wish the would add a battle AI. I’m so sick of battles being decided by how minions randomly attack. It’s so frustrating watching an opponent’s unprotected banana splitter be ignored, to instead attack a DR beast. Or your minion attacks an enemy minion that leaves it at 1 life when it could have killed a different one.
I’d also like it if they let the discover you get from triples let you choose from ANY minion of the tier. The luck of whether one gets the best possible minion from a tier above or a junk minion to sell for 1 gold is too much. I’ve had games where EVERY triple has discovered junk. This is probably the biggest luck factor in the whole game.
I played day 1 then left shortly after. Back again. Going to try BG’s. Reading reddit on this. better source of material. This place seems… lacking.
Hawkstrider should get moved to T6 with the effect of activating only an adjacent DR, both sides if golden. Landlubber should go to T4 minimum. Bejeweled goes to T3 to avoid people creating 30+ health walls on T2.
Spells that generate gold either get nerfed or removed entirely.
The point of the game mode was to make Blizzard money. It’s completely a “maybe next time” kind of game.
The people that are like “It’s skill” are clowns, they just don’t realize they are advertisements but not getting paid.
For everyone one of them there is 10,000 that lose.
Anyone that thinks ranking in a Blizzard game in 2024 means something is probably 50+
So in 6 months or so, you’ve never had Goldrinn in the shop, or tripled on 5, and discovered him as your 6? Not once?
Are you staying on tier 4 for too long? This is the only way that this would be remotely possible, and even then there are heroes that can steal from others that do have it.
lol, I’m 51 But, i don’t care about ratings. I play around 7-8k because I concede so often. I play for the random fun. But, it’s not fun when you lose because of the way the battle simulator decided to screw you.
One other thing… Murlocs don’t need venom. You spend a lot of time and effort into making big minions just for a store bought murloc can kill and give venom to another murloc. It’s stupid and makes tribes like demons a joke. They can already get as big as any other tribe, so why do they need venom, too?
I dont think I am, no idea what turns I upgrade as its always a fluid decision. But I can go without any loss or even a tie for first 9 or so turns, my minions might at best scale to the lowest reaching double digits, the highest being something like 50/110ish , but the rest are all closer to the former… i played with you earlier, you saw when you spectated that I never once encountered any spells for econ aside from that one time i spent 1 gold to get 1 gold… no others the entire time. You did point out that I had minions that had their own end of turn effects. My understanding of the double end of turn effects had me assuming it meant spells I gave to minions that do end of turn buffs. Never occurred to me it could include minions that have their own things. I honestly never even considered the dragons tribe to be in that category but now i suppose it was obvious. IDK, I just didnt connect the two ideas together. It just wasnt readily apparent to me and how I read how they worked.
as for triples… they are super rare and usually only made possible to me when im tier 3 or lower… As i rarely encounter anything of my tribe at my higher tier levels. but at best since the spells came into bgs i might be able to get a single golden minion the entire match. Its a super super super rare event to have 2 goldens ever. and if im going beasts… i can rarely find 2 of anything…
The Lub epidemic is reaching critical mass. If the tribe combo is present literally everyone is trying for it. Someone will hit it and the rest of the lobby is SOL. We need an emergency patch for this garbage.
