So, My hero died at the start of the combat, I got third place and decided to check if I really lost the battle. Turned out that I actually beat my opponent (difficult to see with the the death screen covering the fight). I think it might have been because I got hit for 32 damage the turn before (had some armor left).
This has happened before, and it’s really frustrating when you just got your build together where the beast you wanted to have reborn finally got the reborn.
