So you know when searching for battlegrounds games you get a short message, one of them is “three golden minions don’t combine into a bigger triple”

You brought out these new signature cards, we already had diamond cards, both of these would fit into battlegrounds as a triple golden card and would add new strategy’s plus reward the player for collecting a crazy amount of a single card (which is very appealing to the loot goblins like myself)
Also can we get buddy’s back… please, they were awesome! I saw that you recently added a quest for getting a your buddy and that was fun, but I’ve only seen it once =(

You would have to invest in so much linear play that you would lose before the triple gold cards gave you the diamond. You would also have to contend with all the missing slots you now have on board. About half the minions or more you could never get to a diamond state either because of availability into the pool.

Yeah I’m not saying it should be easy but having them exist is something to aim for and would be something to look out for/keep in mind

Yeah I mentioned that in my original post. The problem is that the partner in crime quest is incredibly rare, I have only seen it twice in over a hundred games
There is a reason it is so rare, they have made a decent amount of newer heroes that never had a buddy since they didnt exist back then, it would be horribly unfair to allow someone in the lobby their buddy but because you picked the Jailer you call foul because they had a buddy and you didnt. So the only way the quest is offered is if every player in the lobby picks a hero that originally had a buddy, so if even one person selects a newer hero, that quest is locked away from being offered. So if you wish to see the buddy more, always pick buddy having heroes and bail the moment you see a newer hero picked by someone else and move on to the next match and try again. Keep in mind tho, when the buddy quest is offered, everyone is offered it. Ive only seen one match where someone didnt pick their buddy quest whereas the rest of the 7 of us all did.
Also, I say there shouldnt be a hard no to a triple triple yielding say a diamond variant instead of just staying at 3 goldens. Id suggest it should just be an achievement. Something rare enough that the average game wouldnt let it happen naturally, but I think having it happen say via the golden monkey or the wonderous orb or what have you would allow for some interesting games. Perhaps a diamond minion in BGs is always a Reborn version that reborns at full health and abilities. making the loss of the other 2 slots not such a loss after all depending on the layout of combatants.

I would like to see buddys return for a bit,if only temporary.
A rotation of past mechanics is interesting and something i would like as well,forcing people to adept to new metas quickly. Though besides this i would also like to see a new class or mechanic with the upcoming update.
The buddy quest i only had once thus far. Well twice actually but the 2nd time i declined the quest,for which i still feel a bit bad.

Good points, i agree. Even if the triple golden is just a cosmetic thing or as you suggested a super reborn it would be fun and something to aim for. I’ve only ever gotten 3 of the same golden minion once and ive played several thousand games so it is very rare already.
