When I say BG’s is pay to win I’m NOT talking about the season pass offering more hero options. No, instead I am talking about the fact that you need a very strong PC to handle the animations smoothly in order to do anything that requires high APM.
Getting a high rank above rank 10k is extremely hard these days partly because the time it takes a mobile/ laptop user/ low end PC user to sit through animations and combats is too long to get anything productive done in compositions that require high actions per minute.
Very often I will exit a combat with only 45 seconds to take my turn because the Deathrattle animations in my last combat took all my turn time away. Or I will end a turn with insane amounts of floated gold because my own Battlecry and Discover animations took my entire turn time away. Watching a player like DogDog for example I would say my animations take a solid 3x longer than his as reference.
TLDR: You need a beastly PC to handle the animation times of BG’s and that inherently makes it pay to win since not everybody is on an equal playing field considering there are no separate ranks for mobile/ tablet users.
I completely agree this game is a colossal scam powered by people who can’t wait to waste money by giving it to blizzard who in exchange only returns silence and no declaration, for years it has been said that there are RNG control algorithms and it has no never made any statements, he has received thousands of dismissals for incompetence and who knows what else from Microsoft in the last few days and nothing… no statement, he just wants money and stop, he doesn’t give anything in return…
I have fairly new PC and yet once I reach tavern 6, massive lags start to occur. Sometimes not being able to even do all 10 tavern refreshes before time runs out.
I can only imagine how bad it is on worse computers.
I have laptop, which is definitelly not high-end (integrated graphics, mid-range) and phone (top of the line, 2 years old) and I am playing APM pirates, murlocs and whatever I want without any issues.
I would get that you have issues on 5 years old unknown chinesse brand phone, but on PC?
Nah that would cost them time and money and besides they already have too many options in the menu they actually need to remove some options. Who needs both resolution and volume sliders they should remove at least one of those options if not both then the options would be perfect
It works the same way for me as before, maybe reinstal the app or even battlenet? Sounds like software issue/glitch. Works for me the same as before on both phone and PC.
I play APM pirates on my phone no issues lmao, only annoying thing is that (somehow unsolvable) bug where when you magnetize things too fast it moves the whole board around and makes it VERY easy to sell minions you didn’t mean to… lost a game by selling a 560 attack Foe Reaper once
