As the name suggest battlegrounds has become extremely buggy and just not fun to play. Crash so much now it’s not funny. It’s the only mode in hearthstone that crashes for me all the time now. For whatever reason anytime I get into the top four it disconnects and all it keeps saying is “you were disconnected from your last game reconnecting” but it never does. This is literally my favorite mode. If this continues like this, I won’t really have much use for this game anymore.

Do you play mobile bro? This only happens to me so much when i’m on my brand new iphone 16 pro (pro max was far too costly) and on pc it works well

Yeah, I’m a mobile player iPhone 14 but I’ve never had any problems with battlegrounds until the last update so I’m assuming something broke. I just hope they’re going to do a hot fix soon. I was watching some streamer tonight and even they got disconnected so it seems to be a widespread problem

It’s not just mobile. I’m exclusively on PC and it’s been crashing almost every game the last couple days. They have some issue right now with it, I just don’t understand why they haven’t implemented a fix yet. Then again, it’s blizzard so they probably won’t until it starts costing them money. Soon as they see a drop in sales from people not playing, it’ll get fixed.

Well they have to promote the new arena. So BG will have to be buggy for a while.
Not the first time either. They always temporarily ruin a mode one way or the other when they release something new. To channel the players towards the new thingy.

Yeah… no. How does that justify the fact they put absolutely zero effort into their updates quality? It’s 2025, not 2005.
Lets be honest - this game is slowly dying and bugs like this will certainly make it die even faster. I wish they cared, but they don’t.
They don’t have to. As long as the sheep keep paying for this slop, they can keep lowering the quality, and raising the price, and its justified to their shareholders.
Keep buying their stuff, and they’ll keep lowering the quality.

Crashed last night in Duos, and ive crashed twice today already…
I’ve had this happen 3 times today. I play on PC, and it won’t reconnect, but even after it drops me out if I try to open it on my phone it still fails to reconnect.
It’s not just Battlegrounds. I’ve had it happen once this week in Arena, and twice this week in Ranked play. It’s been happening with high frequency since Monday.

I’ve been disconnected for 3 games in the last 5 games I played like WTF. Can’t even reconnect.

Recently returned to the game and came to the forums specifically because this has happened to me 3 or 4 times today. So frustrating, almost all of them wetre VERY good games for me when the DC occurred! I’m sure they’re working on a hotfix.
I agree there is nobody in charge and you can clearly tell whoever is left hangs out in the forums. It’s freaking sad…
