What do you guys think the top 10 issues are?
The main issue is that is is sooooooo luck dictated. The game can never be considered a skill game with so much of it dictated by pure luck. Every aspect from hero selection to tavern selection, to discover selection, trinket selection and no AI for battles.
Everyone should be able to pick any hero they want. But, these guys want to make money selling you the ability to just have a bigger selection… greed.
The tavern should have parameters within it to somewhat regulate the randomness. For example, when a person is on tier 2, the tavern should not be allowed to refresh with all tier 1. Maybe whenever the extra slot are added to the tavern at certain tiers, those slots should be forced to carry a minion of a specific tier or higher.
One of the biggest luck factors in the game is discover selection. The difference between getting the best possible minion from a higher tier, or junk you sell for 1 gold. I’m thinking maybe make the discover selection be 5 instead of 3.
This game really needs a battle AI as well. There is nothing more frustrating than watching your minions make the worst possible attack decision they can make, while the opponent hit with optimum efficiency. Watching a 1000/1000 minion attack a 1/1 poison is just stupid. Or when your minions ignore the opponents unprotected Rivendare.
This game could be next level. But, so many people seem to be content on it being a luck fest.

If it was completely based on luck, then why do I always come in top 2-3? I tried buying scratch tickets but I lost big time, so I call BS on your theory. Instead, maybe you guys are simply bad at playing ALL the available cards and instead only know how to play 3-4 meta builds? Keeping your strategy fluid until the trinkets drop and then rocketing to first place is how you enjoy BGs. There are very few early game strategies that revolve around perfect meta builds that can expect to beat a T6 card strategized build to get first place.

Whats your rating Bling? If you ALWAYS come in 2-3rd then you should be well up 15-20k if you NEVER lose. So, I call BS on your claim.

Soooo you just outed yourself to everyone that you’ve never been over 6k rating, because you barely get any rating for being second place compared to first when you get around there, let alone 3rd. Currently im at 7.2k in solo, but I play mostly duos because its much much harder, and there im at 6.8k
You aren’t getting 14k without staying up forever or rotating players in so you can take shifts, even if you could win 100%
You outed yourself at someone that thinks they can figure things out when they have no idea what they are talking about. I’m around 6.7k atm. I don’t play for ratings, so I concede all the time. Also w/o battlepass, so only 2 hero selection. If I always got at least 2-3rd place i’d be at 20k, but I guess I play A LOT more than you do.
Yes, you certainly do concede more than me. Because I don’t concede until second place with no hope of passing first. Even with terrible duo teammates, which is 60% of matches 
Currently this season one of the biggest hurdles to climbing is the horrible card pool and certain anomalies being far to good for a single player to start from an insanely strong position. Now that player has to know what to do from that position but it’s a factor none the less.
Anomalies turn me off from the mode greatly and when i was solicited by Blizzard for my opinion about BG’s this season i spent a great deal of time explaining why anomalies are bad for the game. I doubt they care because they are great for the casual BG player who is below average and likes those games where an anomaly spiked them and gave them a free top 2.

random disconnects still and life and death games at 5K rating. I watch streamers at 13k and they just breeze through games.
It would be nice to not be getting partners in Duos that are either brainless or the type to demand you feed them cards or do exactly what they demand you do or they quit as i’ve had one too many runs end because my teammate is such kind of folk. Why do I do duos when i get fools for partners one may ask, simple solo queue takes forever to find a lobby that only ends up over in a few minutes. Then there’s a chance there are some cheaters but I’ve got no clue if those suspicions are right but I see people mention cheaters being rampant in battlegrounds, people suddenly at tier six by turn eight with a full team of golden units for example was one I’ve seen people mention seeing
1-skill range in the playerbase in combination with the small seize of the playerbase.
The skillrange is to big,you are in lobbys with people much better and much worse then you. Its not a good experience in either situation.
2-animations.
They simply can not fix this its always something and new slow animations get added all the time. The default for blizz animations is that they suck and then you might get lucky and they fix something weeks or months later.
3-bad cards. Cards which have become outdated and are straight up horrible. Things like the t1 quil that gives you a gem. the wrath weaver. Every tribe has these across all tiers. Cards you just never buy , filler cards. They are very annoying to see in the shop.
I’ll add one more to this list.
4-I am sick and tired of seeing this anomaly every other or every 3rd game.
It’s insanely boring due to it just being a rush to get access to tier 7 minions first and building a comp of them immediately.

Just nonstop random luck. You get up to tier 5/6 with a good team, but then the tavern never gives you what you need next.
The issue is the low skill players who like to say “It is all just luck” love T7 and anomalies in general because they do not understand what is happening in a typical game.
The anomalies, especially ones like T7 that have clear paths to winning, seem to make greater sense to these players. They are still donkey rolling for their tribes, but they at least maybe pick the correct ones.
Tier 7 is obnoxious because too many of the lobbies combinations create situations of there being one unbeatable comp. Beast undead quilboars create god like quilboard comps. Naga elementals create out of control elemental comps. Murloc undead create insane scam boards. Oracle can randomly make you the biggest guy in lobby as you scam kill somebody.
I just had a game where elemental naga’s were the only thing broken I was easily the first to tier 7 got golden mora just never saw tier 7 naga or elemental, screw it make golden quilboars pirates are in get 50+ gems going looks good.
O never mind I fight 2 guys back to back with the golden tier 7 elemental already out scaling 400 stat quilboars turn 10-11 and die 30 to zero. Tier 7’s are just so imbalanced it’s obnoxious. You can have a strong somewhat highroll game but just die so hard to tribe differences. I got to tier 7 stupid fast that game on Omu goldened 2 gamblers on the way. Doesn’t matter don’t hit broken comp lose.

Battlesground biggest issue though is that it crashes way too much. I’ve never had a game crash remotely as much as battle grounds. I think the game could be taken more serious outside of streamers if this wasn’t such a problem.
I would rather activision kill off battlegrounds by re-releasing as it’s own game instead of dropping me 1 out of every 5 games. Hearthstone itself is kind of a mess now having so many game modes imo.
That’s interesting. Where are you playing from? I have not had any drop issues since they corrected the problem they had a month ago?

BG’s has a serious issue after Jeef posted and showed the infinite build. Probably going to need an emergency patch in order to stop players from locking up lobbies.
FYI: If you are playing in beast lobbies and You see someone take a fish trinket or start with the Curator you best have some cleaves early and stop them because late game it’s impossible to defeat the build if they are smart about it.

The worst part about this game is how it is so damned luck dictated. I’m a 52yo lifelong gamer and I have never played a more frustrating game than this. Get up to tier 5/6 and sometimes just f%$#'s you… Gives you nothing but crap. So stupid to be on tier 6 and have tavern refresh with nothing but low tier crap.
