But it never connects and hangs again here.

I’m having the same issue as well and it’s happening in most games of Battlegrounds I queue up for.

Exactly the same happening to everyone. Curiously when the RNG does not screw me, the game does.
Imagine being a multi million game company, and cannot fix a stupid netcode, bugging not sure why, you get disconnected and cannot get back into a freaking card game.
Yes, sure Blizzard, I will absolutely pay season pass when the game barely works properly, pull up a chair and wait.
The word I am looking for is disgusting.

Game just continues to freeze at the end of turn and then you can’t login for forever just tries to rejoin last broken game

Am currently experiencing this and am in that endless reconnecting screen right now. Second game in a row - waited half a day before trying again in hopes of a fix. Doesn’t seem like anything is being fixed. First experienced this 3 days ago, can’t believe issue still persist today.

I would like to also add to the pile. 50/50 I make it to the end of a Battlegrounds match now (6/3/25 to 6/8/25 so far) without the rope hanging at some point. I use mobile, so I close the game to reboot, but it further hangs on the reconnecting step (maybe 1 out of 15+ times does it connect).
Just happened to me… again. First BG I’ve played today.
At this point, there’s no point in playing BG as the disconnect happens more often than not. I am sure as hell not wasting any Arena tickets for fear of this happening in one of those games. Time to take a break from HS I suppose.

RIP BATTLEGROUNDS…same problem as everyone else. Rope freezes and stuck on reconnecting to game even after restarting several times over an hour.
happens to me at least once a day, and then you have to wait til the game you were in finishes or you cant log back in
Happening here aswell 3/8 games in a day, it’s really getting on my nerves and making games that are looking good doomed.
Stuck permanently on reconnect, can’t do anything. It’s been an hour since my rope stuck
