Battlegrounds get to play first twice in a row

Has happened multiple times that I have to face my normal opponent and afterwards I again face my teammates opponent first. Making it so that the board I build up does notmatter as I keep facing other heroes instead of the same one over and over again.

Been going on for multiple games now.

I don’t understand what you were expecting to happen ?
That when you are playing battlegorund duos, if player A faces player C, then they should always face eachother, or always alternate ?
If this can help :

  • [Battlegrounds] In Duos, the first person in combat (between you or your partner) will no longer always swap each turn. You can still see the upcoming combat order on the scoreboard on the left side.

I don’t understand the subject.

The opponents and the order of fights change and this is normal…
We can know in advance who our opponent will be and who will start the fight.

In duo’s you play the same person every time. If you are team 1 and go against team 2 you alway’s play the same person in team 2. Currently it happenend multiple times that I get to go first twice and my teammate goes after me. Making it that I switch what teammate I would play in team 2.

Next patch bugs and fixes.

That’s not the next patch.
Patch 30.0 was already live when you posted this topic.
What’s dropping today is the release of the expansion, not the update.
Ie: Molten giant already has its rewordded text which is part of the update.

What I understand from the patch is that before 30.0, a team of player A and B against C and D would always alternate during fights
A against C, B against D
A against D, B against C
A against C, B against D
A against D, B against C

Now with patch 30.0 it becomes random. You can have A face C twice then switch against D once.

Knowing that neither the new version nor the old one, depicted by that line, matches with what you are describing of A always facing C and never facing D

Yes, sometimes, it happens.
