Battlegrounds disconnect – can’t reconnect to ongoing game

Hi,

Since the last update, I’ve been getting disconnected during Battlegrounds games on my iPad, both in solo and Duos. When it happens, I get the “Reconnecting…” screen, followed by:

“Unable to reconnect to your game.”

After that, I’m sent back to the main menu. The game itself isn’t frozen — I can start a new game — but I can never return to the match I was in, even if it’s still ongoing.

This bug:
• Happens roughly every 2-3 games
• Occurs even on different devices and stable Wi-Fi
• Still happens after reinstalling Hearthstone

My partner has the same issue on their iPad.

This makes the game nearly unplayable — especially frustrating when it happens in top 4. Can you please investigate <3

Delete the cache folders.

Delete these folders:

  • Battle.net
  • Battle.net_components
  • Blizzard Entertainment

If this doesn’t work try to reinstall the game.
