Hearthstone iPad app basically unusable for Battlegrounds. Constantly crashing (several times per BG game), every game at random, no consistency. Sometimes reconnects (after a full restart of the game, losing you TONNES of time), sometimes doesn’t reconnect and you’re out. Stats ruined. App crashes/closes but is still running.
This has been happening for many months but is definitely getting worse with these latest releases since Buddies returned
Have hard rebooted the iPad; Uninstalled & reinstalled the game, Reset my Blizzard password. No joy.
No issues on desktop or iPhone 12 Pro.
iPad, 5th Gen, ~100GB free space, no other apps running.

Having the exact same issue. Playing on iPad Air 2. Everything up to date. Have reset and reinstalled and still crashes every game. It’s unplayable at this point. Very frustrating.
Same happening here, at least once per game, sometimes more. Since last patch, stable before. Totally random when it does, can be in menu, mid game, building deck. Total kick out.
I have been having the same problem on a 6th gen iPad - crashing once (or more) per game, freezing, slowdowns. Today I received my shiny new 5th gen iPad Air and, guess what, HS is running smooth as silk with no issues at all, for 3 successive games of Battlegrounds. HS is supposed to work on 5th gen iPads according to the website, but that clearly needs updating. It’s an expensive fix!
I play battlegrounds on my ipad gen 8 and it s constantly crushing, it s very frustating. Also sometimes at the start of the game i can t pick hero and it s disconecting me. Please fix these bugs Blizzard. Thanks!
This is my issue. It crashes EVERY day, multiple times. Sometimes during the middle of a game, sometimes when I just go to my collection to look at cards… I am reaching out to Hearthstone support…
I do re-start the iPad and can re-install the app itself… but that’s about all that I know to do. Seems like some memory issue… but not sure… this is bad, especially for paying customers.
